Hello! That’s true, yes, Piper is actually working on a game engine for the DS for their gradwork and is eventually planning on making NDS in it.

stumbled into the answer for Creativity on complete accident. Very satisfying to puzzle through each of the levels!

The game ran pretty slowly for me on my laptop, at around 20-30 fps, which I’m fairly certain had a notable impact on gameplay (in that it made it very easy.) The art in this is great though, and the spellcards/patterns are excellent.

Short but incredible. Good voice acting adds so much to a game…

I thought that the movement was perhaps a bit tedious with how slow you go.

Surprisingly fun game! I love stacking stones. Had to stop when I got one of my stones stuck in level geometry when I tried to pull three of them to the stack at once.

Small and cute little shooting gallery game. Very easy as you can spam shots with no penalty. Sound design is funny.

Piper read some fun documents and dabbled a bit before the jam window to test the viability of the concept, and it was honestly easier to implement than they expected! We weren’t able to implement score during the timeframe sadly, but we’ll try to add it in a post-jam update.

The health system/loss condition confusion seems to be a fairly common bit of feedback, so we’ll need to work on that as well.

Glad you liked it!! There are some issues with detection (particularly between circles and triangles, and arrows and lines, and also just lines by themselves?) It’s not quite critical though so we’ll put a fix in a post-jam patch likely some time during the next week.
