Grateful for the high life counter as always, cause man I suck at this and these patterns were super hard for me. That's not to devalue them, they're cool designs to look at and I like watching the pretty fireworks (and art, on that note). Also an interesting combination of characters, with a not-quite-forgotten PC-98 classic and a brand new 2hu gal.

This is fun! I was waiting to play this until after the scoring update, but I couldn't really wait any longer, could I?
I love the idea of taking the VS game characters and giving them more fleshed out spell cards. More like this, please! You did a good job of capturing the feeling of Enoko's attacks, and you've generally got a good sense for balance and playability. Apart from the Ice Fang spell, there is nothing too spicy. The final spell is really fun.
Perhaps the game is a bit too accessible for my taste. It's hard to please everyone with just one difficulty level, but the game is short enough and has enough bombs for everyone to make it to the end almost no matter their performance, so I think you could have upped the difficulty slightly. Or even better: make the game longer, but I understand the limitations of a 3-day jam.
Since there are no special mechanics this time around, is it even possible to get two stars? Bombing gets you down to one star, same as just failing the spell by getting hit.
I love how polished the game looks. Some of it simply due to Danmokou being awesome, some of it due to you all being awesome.

That's a good SHmUP! Well suited for shooters of medium skill.
I like how the first 2 nonspells/spells are total pushovers, and then Enoko goes batshit with the difficulty.
So as with every other small SHmUP games, I try getting a NMNB.
And let me tell you, the Ice Cage spell card was really annoying to capture. The spell consists of spikes hitting the ice circle, yes? Some parts of the spikes go through the circle, which spawns treacherous aimed bullets from behind.
I can't tell if that's intended but goddang that made it a nightmare to capture it. About 70% of my NMNB attempts died to this one spell :|
But I eventually got the NMNB so yay
Also, I noticed there's no RNG at all in the danmaku (I think?). Is that because of possible replay issues like before? Not complaining, but wondering.
The game ran pretty slowly for me on my laptop, at around 20-30 fps, which I’m fairly certain had a notable impact on gameplay (in that it made it very easy.) The art in this is great though, and the spellcards/patterns are excellent.
The patterns are really nice! Also love the effects done for the intro, and the story is great! As others have mentioned, love the inclusion of Mima, and not being just for the sake of Mima being in the game. Really nice gameplay!
Nice danmaku game! I felt like the bullets are a bit samey until you throw the curvy laser at me! Really nice to see an Enoko game. Wonderful!

Very nice! I had fun seeing what yous all came up with for Enoko's attacks in a normal danmaku game. Those bullets sure come at you fast (maybe a bit too fast, but I'm bad at bullet hell so who knows)! I also really like the story, it felt like there was a real purpose to Mima being brought back, and how her and Enoko fight to protect Marisa is touching. The twangy guitar title theme is great, and so is how Enoko's beartraps change color depending on her attack. Thank you for the game!
Thank you for playing! I think some of the patterns are kind of fast too lol. We were going for Enoko becoming stronger for Marisa's sake so I'm glad that feeling was able to come through.
I'm glad you really liked the story! Me and Kenshin went a bit back and forth on what to do with this game until we decided on this main duo. I suggested this thought it was a really fun idea, and I also just really wanted to write Enoko lol. Definitely tried my best with this one :P
