The sound design is really spectacular in this game! The aesthetic and visuals are really great and fit well together. The cutscenes and story was so unexpected from a game jam game but highly impressing and cool. The story seems to be pretty intriguing and in depth definitely the best part of the game along with the as ethic coming in close as second.

I don't really have any problems with the cutscenes besides maybe a little faster, but I think almost the entire game as a whole needs to be faster. Everything feels slow to do with walking from place to place, interactions with a slow bar, and slow cutscenes with slow transitions. Just making everything faster would keep me far better engaged. Another problem is that more gameplay is just needed there wasn't a lot to do from what I could see. Adding more interactions, mini games for those interactions, or adding entirely new mechanics like a sprint or a way to dig up the resource you're supposed to be getting would make it a lot more enjoyable experience.

Hii it's so cool your son is into game development! I'll be sure to check his game out :) Here's mine if you're interested at all Nothing Wrong by Kizi, Phobophobia

Hiii! Here's our game Nothing Wrong by Kizi, Phobophobia :)

This game is absolutely amazing and well made. Yes, the visuals are really nice and cute, the sound design is decent, and it fits into the theme perfectly but it's the gameplay that stands out to me. This game has a lot of different game mechanics in it and a well-made gameplay loop similar to if Among Us was single player. After winning a round or level being introduced to even more areas and special abilities was very surprising for a game made in this short amount of time. It's just really fun and enjoyable :)

I don't have any real complaints for the game but for some feedback on my experience the biggest problem I had was learning what to do with the control panel. It took me maybe a minute or two to figure out I was supposed to type it out which conflicted all of the other minigames where you clicked or dragged things. Maybe adding a little tutorial or just making it clear could help. Another thing might just be to make the game faster as a whole. The bar moved way too slow to the point where the tasks started feeling repetitive and it would take a while to get anywhere. Just cutting how long it takes to get to the next round and making the character move faster would make it easier but more fun.

It's a really nice idea with how your gun jams, dud bombs, and power-ups just not working sometimes which adds a bit more of an internal or mechanical struggle then just your enemies. I think the visuals are solid and it's very on theme.

While the game is quite challenging, which I like, it feels pretty unfair a lot of the times. Either lessening the repercussions like adding more health/shield or making it easier to avoid enemies and bullets could help a lot with this. Another thing to consider would be adding or variety which could be with more and unique enemy types, different types of obstacles, or different powerups. A thing that would work really well is a score counter for every enemy you kill or a timer for how long you last.

Oh, it took me around 2 minutes to beat it from start to finish on the first level is what I was referring to. Sorry for the confusion!

I liked the game it's a pretty cool concept I've never seen before. I love the jumping in this game and feels nice to do. I got a time originally of around 2 minutes but then I got a time of 33 seconds on my second play through once I figured it out. The graphics look nice and the clams spitting you out was really fun! The drugs and pufferfish mechanics are all really enjoyable :)

The only issue I really see is that it's very easy to get stuck on walls and difficult to get unstuck from them sometimes. Something that's less of an issue and more of a preference would be to add more controls even just moving left and right I often felt like I had no control of the character and there wasn't much to do besides press button. Overall, I really liked the game, but I just wish there was more to it. for a game jam game, it's a pretty solid entry.

This game is like actually kind of amazing. The idea of restarting over and over again learning what things to avoid until you eventually do everything right fits the theme perfectly. The game is pretty well polished and fun getting all of the different endings. I think I got all of them? Unless there's some secret ones I didn't get. Overall, it's probably one of my favorite games on here. It's simple but charming and entertaining for what it is.

For feedback all I can give is maybe make it even more bizarre scenarios and adding more things to interact with. Maybe it would help making it clearer when exactly certain things change in the game such as the water puddle and coffee. Maybe showing steam on the coffee and it disappears later and having a janitor walk in and make some cleaning noises to signify when it's cleaned up.

I like the shift of 3d to 2d which really caught me off guard at first. The story and feel of the game are actually pretty good with it feeling very atmospheric in the 3d scene and the 2d scene being pretty interesting too with the whole heaven and hell levels. Overall, It's an enjoyable game with very nice vibes.

Some feedback I have is that while the 3d looks really good the 2d sprites used don't really feel cohesive. The pixel art background and tile set doesn't mesh well with the more drawn cartoon look of the character, enemies, and UI. I would recommend trying to stick to one style which will really just make it more cohesive and more professionally looking automatically but it gets a pass because it's a game jam game. Also, the character movement could use some more polish with adding more feedback and responsive controls.

Bunny game!! Nothing Wrong by Kizi, Phobophobia

Cute little clicker game! It's honestly pretty hard I got to about 29 mice before losing in the end. I like the sound effects and the paw hand you use to catch the guys.

If you were to add anything maybe just add more variation to the gameplay loop if possible but it's not necessary for a game jam. The color change when you lost a piece of is quite interesting, but I think you could have added more "flavor" or emotion to it. Still a nice little game overall

Quirky silly game :) Nothing Wrong by Kizi, Phobophobia

Thankss for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game even though it sounds like you didn't make it to the end.  I didn't make the pfp for the game, but I can look into seeing if we'll change it or not.

The cutscene at the beginning of the game is actually really great and the game feels large too with multiple areas to go to and environments to explore giving it that hollow knight/metroidvania style look and gameplay which is pretty impressive.

Some criticism I have with the game is almost entirely with the controls which just don't feel smooth or super enjoyable to use. The dash, wall climb, and double jump all have some jank to them that make them a little hard and confusing to use. Maybe fixing some of the bugs, add polish, animations, and adding things such as jump buffering and coyote time could help with this problem.

I liked the game, and the graphics work well with it. The cutscene was completely unexpected but really impressive. It was hard but I got through it with about a minute left on the timer.

For feedback it was really difficult to drive without turning left (which is the point) but if the controllers were maybe smoother or if the level design had more ways to get through without doing a full 360 or going in reverse would be much better, I think. Still a great idea and fun game.

This is really fun and lovely game! It's honestly so well polished for a game jam game. The graphics are pretty, and the character's animation is really nice.

Only feedback I could give is maybe tighter controls or something more fluid but if it's a rage platformer you might be better off not having them. Also, more variety in the tricks that are used would be a cool thing to add if you decide to continue making more levels but that's less feedback and more of me wanting more to play.

That sure was unexpected

I really like the gameplay loop and designs of the plants. I can totally see this being an amazing game if you decide to add onto with more plants, weapons, or even automation.

Wow I was definitely not expecting that. The visuals are really amazing, and gameplay is fun too just a little too hard to control for me.

It does feel very weird with everyone going down the "rate for rate" route that it kind of undermines the purpose of a game jam. Yea we want people to check out our creations that we put a lot of effort into, but it just doesn't feel like the way to go about it and hopefully no really good games gets overshadowed just because they never did any of it.

It's actually really fun a unique twist on rhythm games! It was hard at first, but I was able to get the hang of it and do pretty well.  Only thing I would say it needs is some more polish and fluid movement.

Hey! I know the game isn't finished but it's getting there if you decide to add more to it! I really like the style of the character or just that its movement is so fluid idk

There's actually 8 anomalies in total just that the last 3 are supposed to appeared glitched on the counter I apologize for the confusion :(

More realistic than most AAA games

Everything went as smooth as butter kept dying but that's just a skill issue

Interesting game concept where you're the cleanup crew. Visuals are nice and the monster is scary.

This is such a cool idea! A little rough trying to connect the pieces together but still enjoyable

So fun nice little challenging platformer :)
