The is my first post about the progress of my game - I will include in this blog, the progress I have made so far and perhaps more technical details than you can expect to find on the YouTube videos - which are intended to be more entertainment driven than informative.
Time Is The Essence Is a First Person Shooter game, which sets out to make use of time as it's core mechanic. I have some interesting ideas that will change the way we use well known mechanics in game, these will be revealed in time though.
Up Until this point it has mostly felt like the work that I have done - is to prove to myself that I can do the smaller parts of what will eventually be a well formed, and complete product. I set out in the month of April to complete an objective system, which will be the foundation for the creation of all of the objective types in my game.
I will update this post after work with more details on how I got to where I am.
I had fun exploring the world you created! I got confused in the maze area a couple of times lol. But I'm glad I managed to find all the crystals! It would have been nice if you were able to click once to pick the crystal up and click again to put it down at the entrance, instead of holding the mouse button down for the whole walk back. But all in all a nice experience, well done!
