Hi 👋

We use the Devlog posts as a way to summarize what is new in the latest build, but we've noticed that even though it shows the right files in the devlog post, it offers no way of actually downloading it from the post.

e.g. https://twitwi.itch.io/risingup/devlog/746261/rising-up-arcade-sticker-available...

The "Download Now"  takes you to the main page, and then you have to find this file and then download it from there.

I think that is a click we could have saved them, especially as the list of files available on our page grows.

Though, I understand that there could be a possible issue with Files that have been Hidden from the page. Ideally, in that case, I would love to see a gray download button with a tooltip "no longer available", or something like that.

We just re-released our game Rising Up for Mac 🍏 and Linux 🐧 (and updated the Windows version as well)

Check it out here: https://twitwi.itch.io/risingup

Rising Up is a side scrolling beat-em-up (with a twist) about the everyday grind. It's a 10-15 minute experience and can also be played in the browser.

As a little extra, we have released an arcade sticker:

(we wrote a "Thank You" letter and a little post about it, which you can find here: https://twitwi.itch.io/risingup/devlog/746261/rising-up-arcade-sticker-available...)

Hey 👋 I just updated the game, so now things are configureable (and I solved a few bugs while I was there)

Regarding VSync; I've exposed the setting, but it seems like vsync is off already?
We do funky things with framerate (by design) so that might interfere with the setup, and there isn't much we can do about that. But you can try and apply the vsync setting.

You can find it right here https://album.link/anoint 😎

Alright, maybe I'll make another build, but it will be a while.

Im not sure if there is a way to do these things without a build. Maybe you can configure the sync in the os or graphics card settings.

The dead zones, we are using unity's new input system, which settings should be stored in json format. Though I'm not sure if it is stored within the binary.

I'll notify this thread if I make another build 😉

There is more to the ending than just falling down. But you have to interact to make it happen.

The CEO's speech is performed by Laurent Gehin, so no generative AI there 😉

We don't plan on updating it, it's pretty much done.

We could do Mac and Linux builds too if there is an interest.

Otherwise, stay tuned for whatever the team comes up with next 😎

Hey pubjoe, we've just published a standalone version of the build.

Please tell us if it works for you 🙂

Beautiful illustrations 😂

But yes, the Standalone version will support other resolutions (planned)

Question: what hardware are you running the game on? Is that a Linux machine or a tiny windows or some kind of streaming thing?

About the performance of the game;

What device are you running on? Like what Phone and browser are you using, or if you are using a computer; which browser, graphics card and processor are you using?

We might do a downloadable version of the game at some point, which will probably run a lot smoother.

It should be accepting any keyboard input.

Is the game the "activeElement" when you load the page?

Try clicking on the game first, if that doesn't start it, try the spacebar.

I had a few issues with the performance but otherwise it was pretty cool. (also I didn't find the music bullshit, maybe because I did not play it for very long, but it worked)

legit as in?

I did make this game for the jam, i just missed the theme and accidentally did the opposite of Diversifiers. The game sprung out from Idle Thumbs 180's airport nightmare story. Unfortunately the story confuses what I am actually trying to do with this one :( I kinda regret having a story in the game.

Very cool setting, though jerky collision with the ball.

How to sail, and the objective is explained on the game's page.

(you can also find win/mac/linux + assets there)

It took some time for me to understand what the rules are, but here is how I got it:

You have to keep the eye away from the legion for 60 seconds and the legion follows you.
