I <3 the amount of polish that has gone into this game. As a fellow RMMZ dev/Visustella user this looks spectacular. Dowloading now.

Haha, funny you mention Granblue because VS takes heavy inspiration from it. Amazing lore, setting, characters etc.

Thank you. I hope to get a demo out soon :)

Much appreciated :)

I'm really sorry to hear that, Ronnie :( I know exactly how it feels work on an old project that no longer sparks joy: I tried doing the exact same thing by trying to remake Enelysion in MZ but that feeling of undertaking an exciting new project just wasn't there.

So I moved onto working on another game (Tenko) that fills me with a lot of happiness. I don't think I'll ever give up making jRPGs: it blends everything I love into one complete package: art, writing and gameplay.

I really hope you find your game-making groove again :)

All the best

Luchi

Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely fix the game for future updates!

Thank you so much for the feedback, bgillisp! In retrospect I should have added a tutorial and nerfed some of the battles. This was actually the first game I made in MZ so I was just learning stuff as I went along. I do intend on expanding the entry into a series of six episodes!

Hi, I'd greatly appreciate it if you gave GR a go ^^

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The battles can be a bit hard but in a fun kinda way ^^

Ty so much, Saki. :)

Thanks, Ronnie :) Yeah, I understand that GR is quite a drastic depature from my usual games but I had to sacrifice level design for gameplay/combat. Since it is pretty hard to do something decent in just 5 weeks. And yeah, the art is getting there, it's just needs more oomph, I guess (maybe more depth of field? I dunno)

GR will be split into maybe 6 or 8 episodes since the actual story/lore and worldbuilding is a lot more extensive than say, Enelysion/Tiranogg. And I'm really enjoying it so far!

Thank you so much for the feedback, Mirage! I saw the original Sacred Earth ages ago so maybe I was subconsciously channeling your game, haha xD. Though your node system is definitely better than mine XD

Sacred Earth: Alternative 10-min playthrough

- Incredible visuals from the get go. Professionally done

- The heroine is adorable :3

- Map exploration reminds me of Arcanum in Granblue Fantasy

- Dig the battle music

- Combat is definitely deep and engaging, a huge plus

Life Eternal

- Like most have said, excellent atmosphere

- Artwork is classic Ronove, detailed pixel art with expressive portraits

- Music is fitting though it is a bit too slow

- Refreshing PoV as well where the "heroes" were actually the bad guys

In short, great work :3

Luchi/UdonFloof

It's wonderful to see something new from you again, Ronnie :D

Thank you, please look forward to it :)

I just wanna add this here, but here's my official website :3

Most of my game dev blogs can be found here!

Ah, thank you :3 Please look forward to the game then! It's even better than the original now :3

Ah, my bad. I should have added an install file to the game, haha. Create a new folder called Tiranogg Demo and drop the .RAR file in there and extract like normal. Then install the fonts and you're good to go! ^^

I had to make the Audio folder seperately because RMVX only allows me to compress files that are 150mb or smaller and the Audio folder alone is 118mb for the demo, haha.

Wrt Enelysion, this is a complete remake of the game! The story beats are similar and not similar at the same time. It has 3 new characters this time, one of them who is really important to the game's new plot!

Thank you very much :3 Please look forward to it!

Haha, thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. =) I've always prided myself on the music selection for my works, so I'm happy you enjoyed the music. ^^

As for the gameplay, I agree it needs a lot more refinement, but then again, I slapped this project together in under three weeks for a contest, haha.

Probably not. xD I'm working on a new game atm (also being made in VX). Though the game is still early in development, so I dunno. Maybe I'll end up porting it to VXAce.

Nah, VX is the earlier version of VXAce. So porting is unlikely, I'm afraid. ><

RPGMaker VX. =)
