This game kicks so much ass, incredible. Can't wait for the full thing! The coin flip mechanic rocks, pulling it off in the middle of a fight feels so good. Great soundtrack, great gameplay, cool visual style, all around just a damn fun time. My arms are still kinda shakey from all the adrenaline.

Edit: One piece of criticism I do have though is the cerberus boss fight. I really like the moment discovering you have to fight two of him at once, but his moveset felt a little unfair at times.

Thanks! The sound design was something I'm really proud of, so that means a lot.

Thanks for the input! I can see how that would be the case, I guess I've just gotten used to it during my own playtesting. This will probably be the first thing I adjust when I start working on the game again, given that you are now the second person to say this. Thanks for playing my game!

This is really fun! I think my only critique is the tutorial, it was a little bit too much telling me how to do stuff instead of showing me how. I think just by telling the player how the movement works they will figure the rest out on their own just through experimentation. Great work though! This is a really fun mechanic with a lot of potential to get insanely difficult.

Thank you so much! That really means a lot. I think once I recover from the game jam creatively I am going to continue working on this and lean more toward the horror side of things. The sort of mystery and anxiety being totally blind gives would work really well in that context I think. Also, I hope this goes into Mark's video as well, lol.

This was fun! I got stuck on the third level lol, I'm not super great at puzzle games. I really like the concept though, it's super unique. Probably one of the better games I've played so far.

Thank you! A stealth game is actually a really interesting implementation of this idea, I hadn't thought of that. I personally think I am going to lean more toward horror when I continue work given how anxiety inducing it already is, and stealth could contribute a lot to that.

Here's my game! Would love it if you could give it a shot :) It's an exploration-based game that only has one color: red.

The visuals look super cool just from that GIF. I'll play it once I have a chance!

God I wish I was in a time zone where I could go to sleep after I submitted lol. I have an entire day of anxiety and nerves ahead of me over here loll

Yeah scope is kind of a hard thing to figure out. I've started making a ton of games that I had an entire semester to finish and even then I didn't get anywhere near finishing a lot of them. I think for stuff like this, it's best to focus on your main mechanic first and flesh that out as much as possible, then work out from there. Story, art (especially music), extra mechanics or difficulty, those are all things that aren't totally necessary to a game, but rather enhance the experience. I think this is the first time I've gotten that process correct tbh

Tried it again and I really like it! It took me a little bit to get used to the mechanics but once I did it was really fun. Neat idea, I'd love to see more of it in the future.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Too much of this could give you carpal tunnel lol. Thanks for the input!

Super neat idea! I solidly haven't seen anything like it in the jam yet. It was a tad janky but the concept is super intriguing.

For a one bullet game this was really good! Pretty difficult, I had some trouble getting past the first guy. There's a lot of games with a similar concept in the jam, but this one stood out pretty well. The menu looks awesome too btw

Thank you for playing my game! If you could leave a comment with some feedback once you finish the game (it's only ~10 minutes long) that would be super appreciated. I plan on continuing work after the jam, so any criticism is valuable!

Thank you!

Here's my GMTK Game Jam submission! If you play the game, a comment left with some feedback would be super appreciated. I plan on continuing work after the jam, so I want all the criticism I can get!

Totally agree! I plan on working on my game after the game jam ends so any advice would be super super valuable.
