Hey there! Just letting you know v1.0.3.2 is up! I fixed all the things you listed, I ended up getting rid of fall damage, fixed the types and made the attacks faster. I would like to keep the Hitstops (slight pause on the attacks when they hit) just because I love that in retro games! If its too much for a metroidvania I will remove it completely.

Thanks for the feedback! I admit i missed some things cuz i had no sleep making this haha BUT I PLAN FOR IT TO BE A FULL GAME This game is for the game developers world champion ship so I only had 1 month to make a game! I also thought I fixed that resolution thing but must have forgot to save LOL
I will also change the fall damage, probably turn it off in general!
Dev Update:
Thanks to everyone being patient while I update the game,
I am aware of some bugs and working hard to get things fixed!
I am also working on a Checkpoint system, its just kinda complicated and not ready in this update.
In the meantime I can only push small updates for minor gameplay
advantages and thus may not get to some bugs right away.
I am currently trying to make the current story even longer with
many more endings and mechanics as well so I dont want to take too
long but also dont want to rush this.
If you run it as an .exe and you get an error or it crashes,
Please update your NVIDIA Drivers as out-dated Drivers wont be
able to handle the d3d file and you will notice the game crashes
after the intro splash screen.
