Just erased my whole project, found myself uncomfortable in Godot, so here we are in Unity (after all I have loads of experience in C#). First Day - Wasted XD

Thanks, I couldn't find that in rules, prolly missed that at some point... My bad and thanks.

So, I've made a really good progress and am almost finishing the first stage, but I've got questions regarding the use of fonts. The use of text is to kind of mislead/guide the player and it appears on screen from time to time. Are we allowed to use the premade fonts or this also counts as an extra asset?

What a nice person you actually are! :D

We gotta winner already! Honestly charge at least 5 bucks for it! :

My current idea, make a simple trolly platformer with a bit of a twist fooling player in every possible situation. Most of the game is driven by the story, in which game talks to the player in an unfriendly manner. Let's see how it goes, I've already got some parts done so sharing ASAP. ;)

Literally what I'm currently adding to my game. :D

Just what I wanted, to motivate some of you. All of us are going to try, let's see who completes their game, I mean here hoes the theme. :)

GDevelop is no-code engine and you say you are good at it, then go for it! I think you should be able to finish game in a week definitely with enough inspiration! Good Luck! :)

Yeah that's how winners act! Good Luck Bro! :D

Imagine us working as a team. I'm sure we'd win together. LOL

Let's dominate! :D

He's talking about modeling tips and not coding man. I think you misunderstood it.

Good luck then! I've just started learning Godot and GDScript, hope I'll be able to finish it in 7 days! Have a great time making yours. :)

P.S.

I know I won't be able to make a AAA title, nor "learn" GDScript but at least some fundementals. :)

I just wanted to let all of you know that you aren't the worst here and possibly encourage you a bit. I think I'm among the rare ones that have never built a game before, yet participate in a jam. Not that I'm new to programming (been doing F#, C# and C++ for the past 4 years), but I was always concentrating so hard on making my own engine. So I decided to go for Unity or Godot and by following some of the documentation, tutoriales etc. finish at least what could be called a game. Good luck to everyone and have a nice time coding! :)
