Can this work solo or as a writing exercise?

Looking forward to seeing that collection.

Did I see an online version of Carta? If anyone knows do post a link.

Is there a way to get full screen, I want to be IMMERSED!

What are the basic rules to this?

Upon frustrated experimentation, the drop down menu works. But it only works with the encounter page name not its individual members.

Still there is something great here.

Is the Major Update working? I don't see a drop down menu.

This creature list is an excellent idea. I very much enjoy N's tracker but I don't see these major updates working. The drop down menu does not work for me. Is there a new download I should use?

I want to use this, fusing both chaos reigns and solus into a unified thing. So no combat, gotit.

Can you roll for all combat participants at once?

is this combatible with your other supplement “Chaos Reigns”?

The notes on the main tab say that the tab "Excellent Writer" starts the program but I cannot find it.

Decker community · Created a new topic Board of Decks

Still using decker as a index card rolodex for information. I wondered about something:

Can we not only see all the cards of a deck at once, able to modify them there, maybe even move them around?

My brain keeps thinking of something like this... but in decker, with the ability to write on the cards, move them, delete, and possible refer to different cards easily...

Index Cards » Scrite

Any thoughts, laughter?

I beseech and pray!

Any chance of physical copies in the future?

indeed, I can’t believe I found this almost 30 years into (solo) gaming! The use of the adobe acrobat to make anything into a booklet!

Still stuck on getting a physical copy of your campaign notebook, if remotely (long shot) possible?

the 0pc sheet is most useful for forays into alternate systems as I often branch out to other things.

I have been lost playing electronic rpg's for a while. But with these solo sheets (and the great campaign notebook you have), I found some time and space and played a physical game- great stuff, much easier than some VTT or e-notebook.

Thanks for your work and hope to see more great stuff soon.

Alas, has there been any developments in this project?

At this time are there people? Because none are in my metropolis.

If you bought the game on steam can you get a copy here?

Great game. I presume you can't stack major arcana cards right?

How do you open this in decker?

[Says it in a Renfield voice] Oh Master this be wonderful, wonderful! If only I knew how to make the pretty little things on this deck! Pray-tell, what must I do to gain such knowledge?

Boy did I have fun. The project, if it can be called that, has gone in another direction. I am conceptualizing doing an RPG suite on Decker. Character sheets, dice roller, maybe even a dungeon generator. Eventually I would love to do a primitive roguelike. But now focusing on the notebook.

Thanks, we are excited but more than a bit daunted. To show you what level I am at is my next question: Where do you put that code  in a script box?

Sorry for not mentioning something good. I really enjoy this program, it is basically a new way of writing or even a new way of thinking. Cheers to one fun program, definitely a rival to anything else. I hope this inspires you to update, and without typing sounds. Thinking about it again, it is almost embarrassing to mention it.

I was playing with Decker, trying to create a notebook in the Zettenkasten tradition (using a template and making pages and pages of thought) when I realized I can add cool pictures which I don't really do on my wiki)- when my 9 year old son looked over my shoulder and asked...

"Could I make a platformer game with that?"

I told him I think so, but I have NO idea where to begin to do something like Mario running through a screen. Any suggestions? All I saw was the Sukoban deck.

PS: Though just beginning, my notebook is coming out pretty cool... here is the basic template I use.

Yes, I was inspired and re-hauled my entire archive on Feather wiki.

Call it retro, call it inspirational, but it really helps me and many others. Is there any chance at implementing typing sounds?

No offense. I downloaded the Mini-Mac thing and had a ball with this on Hypercard. But just wondering, or a suggestion, any chance of getting this in Windows?

I think I may have started to crack this Novelbase...

Start off by:

1. Writing a sentence about anything, tell a story in a sentence.

Ex. The knight fought and killed the evil dragon.

2. Try and make at least two links from a word or set of words in the sentence. Put a bracket where you want to link...

Ex. The knight] fought and killed]]] the evil dragon]].

3. For each new word/note again try and link at least twice.

knight- a warrior] who is chivalric], brave] and rich enough]] to own and keep a mount].

Keep going with each bracket!

You "Zettelkasten-ing" thinking in an index card box!

Some of the commands that might help those looking for answers is:

  1. To make a new project, down key on the projects page.
  2. Brackets after words makes another entry from that. Multiple brackets link multiple words previous words. Like this]]
  3. You can move up or down with the arrows on the listall page.
  4. Writing a note, one enter/return saves it, two enter/returns saves and starts a new note.
  5. More coming...

Keep in mind:

  • As of now, there is no up or down key to move in a note- use control left or right.
  • No copy or pasting.
  • Be aware of spelling, including capitalization. If an entry is spelled differently it will create a new entry.

Good to hear.  NSR?

Any chance at physical copies of this?

When you say mark 4 progress for tricky, is it four boxes or four ticks in the box?

Same goes for difficult, tough or impressive. Are you filling whole boxes or ticks in the box like in traditional IS?

OMG it's full of stars. What a game! Any chance at a play by post anywhere?

So proficient is a +2 and an item is a +1?

Exalted Funeral says there is a volume 2. Is there a Volume 2
