Oops! Bleakstead was a pretty early game for me. The way it handles items is really weird. Thanks for giving the game a shot.

Apocryphauna is, at the time of publishing, one of my more ambitious and technically complex games. There are little bugs here and there. Generally, entering the inventory with ESC will fix most bugs, but if you run into something game breaking that is not fixable with ESC, please respond in this topic with as detailed a description of your bug as you can, screenshots are also appreciated.
We also have ambitions to add more content to the game, so feel free to follow for updates. In addition, when updates/bug fixes are implemented, you can automatically update the game via the itch.io client.
Edit 10/25/2022: Fixed a bunch of stuff. Hopefully this should fix all or the majority of issues that people have been experiencing recently!
Hi! I think it has to do with the fact that there's a video file in the game. I've been looking into this but overwhelmed with work and other projects. The video in the game is a .mov format, so I'm wondering if maybe you might have issues playing .mov files. A few things you could try are making you've up-to-date with your windows updates and graphics drivers. You could also try making sure the game runs using your GeForce card rather than the Intel one. Also, try running the game as admin. Let me know if any of that helps!
I played this recently, and had a ton of fun with it. It's very well thought out and allows you to play as a fun futuristic trans sky pirate. It was incredibly enjoyable as a transwoman to play as a trans character in this setting. It also provides a cool opportunity for cis identifying folks to roleplay trans characters themselves and explore these themes. I'm looking forward to playing this again with some friends in the near future!
Talking to the NPCs will give you an idea of where to go. Start at the guy at the bus stop or talk to the man in the diner. If you have the camera, the pictures on the ground are indicators of the general location, if you hold your camera up, you can see the "spots" to take pictures of. I'm sorry you're having problems with it but, thanks for giving it a shot.
