Thanks, I'm glad you like it. The bugs seem to happen when you keep pressing to move. I'm not sure why it happened, and I can't really fix it since I didn't code anything in Bitsy. 

I will try to rebuild and expand the game in a different engine in the future when I have time.

Thanks for the feedback! Sadly, nobody has made a game using my assets yet. I might need to create a game demo using them. 

The good news is, I've actually made my first sales, so that's something. This means I can keep working on the assets more.


I have added 81 new items, focusing on kitchenware and meats. Future updates will include vegetables, cakes, candy, and so on...

And I also changed the screenshots picture to hopefully show the size of the project until now and people feel like they get good value for their money.

Also, let me know what kind of items you want in your game. I will try to have them updated as soon as possible.

Yeah, since items are easier to make than other types of assets, there is a lot of competition.

I think you are right about the banner, so I changed it a bit by adding the word "items" to make it clearer what to expect. It’s not a huge improvement, but every little thing helps. You might be right about the price as well, I can try lowering the standard price to $3. My main goal for now is to get as many people as possible to check out the pack.

I am seeking feedback on a new Pixel Asset Pack I’m currently working on. It's a collection of 16x16 pixel items for your game. If this asset pack is well-received, I plan to continue working on it and turn it into a series of packs.

There is a free demo version available for download, which contains 45 out of the current 162 items.

Also, I would appreciate your thoughts on the cover art of the asset pack. After checking the analysis, I found that the Click-Through Rate is only 1.20%. I’m unsure if this is a good or bad statistic.

But on my second  play, the villagers didn't return to their home and opponents don't spawn when it is night.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, a lot of things you said really valuable for me. I will do my best to refine the game, enemies attack from off screen is also an issue I still try to fix ( ̄ω ̄ )

I just released my first game, I want this game to be hard because it is quite short, but sometime I found it a bit easy, maybe because I tested it for hundreds of time to fix bugs so I just get better at it ?  I'd really appreciate if you could take a look at it and give me a few advices on the gameplay. Please let me know if you have any ideals to make the game more fun ( ̄▽ ̄).

I finally finished my first game. The process was both fun and painful. I just glad I able to finish what I started.

The game is a 2D shooter platformer where you try to survive waves of enemies.

The game is out now, it still pretty rough and need some adjustment. But it's basically done. It will have a mobile version with some more updates in the future. If you like this, you can follow me on social media for the mobile version release date and future projects.

I added score and health bars. 

Enemy can now spawn in both side of the map and the game have a difficulty curve.

I have added a boss. There are still some adjustment to do because now the boss do all the move at the beginning.

But yeah, some more upgrades, animations, UI and I think we will have a demo soon.

I have added a new enemy. These thing will fly across the map just to explode in your face. And the game name will be Byproduct  :p

And I also have bad news, turn out the upgrade and evolve system I have in mind is too advance for me right now. 

So, I decided to simplify the game even more.

You can't evolve anymore and there are only 3 upgrade drop by enemies when they are killed and they only last temporary. But I will make sure these upgrades are special and fun.

I have a thing for weird horror stuffs :)))

I have finished working on the background. Things starting coming together.

And I also add the the flying enemy to the game.

 

For now there is a bug when you move fast enough the lighting change direction with you but don't worry you only take damage once.

Now the player can moving, shooting, dashing left and right, all that basic stuff.

The enemy can also follow and attack the player. Both player and enemy can get hit and vanish.

These thing took longer than I expect mostly because of bugs, like ALOT of bugs !!!

I will work on the background after this.
