Hmmm... you might have missed the cheaper gem generator, the order in which you (should) enable them is pink, green, red, blue, purple. If you press M you will see them on the map. Also, yes, its also annoying for me that you can only summon one creature at a time, I wanted to change it just before the end of the jam, but realised it could become problematic once someones summons too many creatures... so I just left it at 1 max. Thanks for the feedback though!

Very interesting game, although I feel like it doesn't benefit from it's 2.5D aspect. Maybe its just my skill issue, but the camera angle often makes it harder to comprehend whether the turrets will actually shoot you or not. Also, many things seem to be highly bugged, especially the turrets. Sometimes they ignore your clones, sometimes not. Sometimes they dont have an animation when they shoot, sometimes they have double their sound etc. Anyway, its a really creative idea and a very solid game, I just think you should fix the bugs to make the game easier to understand for the player. Also I really like the tutorial, explained the mechanics well, although I feel like the interaction mode isnt really needed in this game, it could be just always enabled and not much would changed, just the fact that you don't need to press space to enter it. The controls are a bit wacky, the pressing shift to summon (twice?) is a bit weird, but after some time it gets ok. So all in all, good job, just needs some polishing to make it more fun.

Thanks! I didnt quite have time to make an in-game tutorial during the jam, so I wrote it on the game page (on itch.io). I might add it after the jam ends

Okay, now I added the .exe version, hope it works better now, although for me the shortcuts feel annoying in the .exe version, so just remember its E for opening and closing a window and P for pausing. Esc key does nothing. Enjoy!

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, I know I messed up a bit with the speed, it was hard to get it right, and the only solution seemed to be adding running, which I didnt really wanna make, especially since I would need to make a running animation. Glad you enjoyed the multi-tasking aspect, it was the most important thing when I pictured the idea of the game in my mind. Thanks!

Hmmm... sorry for that! I personally didn't have any issues with the FPS... Maybe I will try building it as an .exe later today, so that you can try it (hopefully) with less lag

Hmmm... idk why that could have happened... Maybe your character moved out of the way and it wasn't interacting with the table anymore somehow...?

In that case the escape key should have closed it, unless there was actually a more serious bug going on.

Anyways thank you for the nice words!

(1 edit)

Congrats on beating the game! Glad you liked it :)

Now addressing the things u mentioned, I have actually tested many different camera settings, and this one turned out to be the best. The camera was very difficult to get right, especially since you're in a small cave, so the camera has to not clip through walls, but also show a big enough view for the player. With the camera moving without clicking, it feels much less controllable. I even had two playtesters (namely my dad and my sister lol) and they both prefered the system with clicking. It might feel like its uncomfortable, but it actually gives you control that is needed for such small caves. However, I should have hid the cursor whenever no menu is opened, but I simply didnt have enough time.

About the uranium, you are actually able to obtain it. In the help menu you can see that better miners can dig up better minerals. I believe that both automatic drill and excavator are able to dig it up sometimes. I wanted to make it a slightly exclusive item (and the atomic bomb is quite glitchy, it sometimes clips through walls if there is not enough space). I'm planning to add an extra information section on the itch.io page today, to clarify how some things work in the game.

Lastly, I know the song can get quite boring, and I didnt have enough time to find a few other ones, so I decided to allow the player to mute it in the pause menu instead. Sorry for that.

Anyways, thank you for the great feedback!
