Cool idea, it was a fun enough idea to stick around, but I ran into some issues.

For the first 5-10 minutes I only ran into one scrap and was unable to mine anything because of that. I eventually discovered that moving left and slightly up seems optimal to intersect the trajectory of the scrap, otherwise you may never see any.

I was able to get the radar, but ended up going far enough that there were no more deposits, but I kept going because I was thinking I would find some, but I never found any.

The anomalies such as moving shadows and the shadowy lights that destroy your drones are a fun touch.

Cool game, I didn't finish it however. I found it quite difficult.

I understand and excuse many issues in jam games, but I thought you may want to hear critiques nonetheless.

The fast and powerful controls seem very unforgiving with mistakes.

Certain walls lack enough contrast to distinguish them from the background at first glance.

More of an in game tutorial would always be good. I once had someone review a game jam game of mine with his own rule that he doesn't look at the description. I don't know how many people think that way.

The furthest I got was to the bouncing pads during the chase scene.

Thanks for the game!

Ended up having a gun that took 2sec between bursts and 4sec to reload. That combo wasn't fun.

Cool game though.

Once I connected it to Risk of Rain 2 mentally I suddenly understood everything lol.

I'll try to fix A and D moving the slider, but as I said in the description, "Make sure you click on the game after using the slider, or else A and D will move the slider." Thanks for feedback though!

The slider is intended to let you play at any zoom you want, even seeing the whole scene.

Thanks a ton for the feedback!

I do not give you permission to port my game. However, I will not and can not prevent you from making a new game that is similar and does not infringe upon copyright.

BTW that other reply was a lie, I do not know that person, and I recommend not clicking any links they send you or giving them any information.

Wow, this game very quickly struck me with how charming it was. I don't know if that's what you meant it to be, but I could see this being polished into an awesome niche game. It has a very chill atmosphere to it.

However, in its current state (2021-07-04), I personally don't find it fun enough that I'd keep playing it for very long, but for anyone reading this, you should check it out, you might enjoy it more than me.

The plus signs with the squares in them completely stumped me, it doesn't help that I started that area out of order by missing the path. The game seems to encourage upward travel, but it was not the case there. So teach the mechanic better and perhaps direct people a little better?

(Later)Well, I just figured it out, but it still took me very long.

(Later)And now I finished the game, but I'm still not sure I understand lol.

Overall I think that it could use a little better teaching of the mechanics, and secondly an improved overworld. The overworld needs a better reason to exist, it sometimes felt like walking just for the sake of walking. The Witness fixed this in 2 ways:

  1.  Its perspective puzzles and some of its puzzles incorporating with the environment.
  2. The beautiful art and the very interesting and unique locations made it fun to explore

I do see that you tried to do some similar things, but I think to make the game better there needs to be more.

It wasn't the perfect 'hard but not too hard' level of difficulty, but I still enjoyed it. Good job.

Its a colorful puzzle platformer I've probably spent way too much time working on, lol. There's 100+ Levels of adding new mechanics and mixing up the gameplay. The Adventure Mode can have a lot of puzzles sometimes, so if you care mostly about the platforming aspect, try the Infinity Mode which is 100% platforming. The Level Creator rounds out the experience with whatever you want. It may seem simple at first, but JUST WAIT until you run into more colors! It's a browser game so you can-

Just go ahead and give it a quick try!

Or, if you need any convincing:

It was originally designed for mobile, but it's still great on PC. This is my first interaction with itch.io  and I really look forward to becoming a part of this community.
