Thanks for playing)

Orbital only holds electrons. It just starts to spin faster. The idea is to be able to shoot with every available electron, when you have too many of them. Skill tree was much bigger, I just didn't manage it in time(
Protons / neutrons got own abilities. Unfortunately I had to cut skill tree.

Thanks for playing. That is just a bad game balance(
I am making a free-online-config lib for unity, so I can patch balance w/o build in future.
https://github.com/Vintall/Unity-Free-Online-Config, if you need it. Like Gordon said, IT'S RAW! But it's working. I plan to advance it further.

Thanks for playing and review!)
Auto shoot is the last minute feature I implemented. I had to use overtime hour to publish it. And yeah, I don't regret it. Shooting feels so much better now.

Thanks for playing)
Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks for playing)
Congrats with getting to Top-5 😉

Thanks for playing and review)
Yeah, it has an odd exception on WebGL, when server is busy.
There is a chance, your score got uploaded, but under default username. Try to play again (just die instantly). It should change username to yours

Skill menu is a pause, but yeah, it's not clear. I wanted to make transparent background for player to see that nothing is moving. But that looked kinda off(
Thanks for playing and review!

Thanks for playing!)

Got to Oganesson :D
That's a fun game) Good job!
Nice music, doesn't feel repetitive.
Atom is hapi

Fun game. Especially for the first game. Music, gameplay feel great.
Kinda hard to get depth (how far is atoms).
Good job!

Scored 1495.
That is a fun game, man.
Laser and atoms looks sick!
My game is also about atoms, I wanted to add laser attack, but run out of time :(
Overall great job! Awesome game.

Nice submission!
But tutorial is crucial here. It's hard to understand, what's going on.

Fun arcade shooter. Nice visuals, music, SFX.
But 'Whistle' sound in particular is too loud and hurts my ears.
Keep working on this game! You can add more abilities, enemies. It would be great.

Overall nice submission. Good job!

Damn, your cinematic rocks, dude. Game is fun to play. Like the mechanics, visuals. Music gets repetitive after several minutes, but it's fine.
Movements fills kinda fuzzy, also I was confused about bindings. "ZQSD and arrow keys" but it's actually "WASD+E+mouse"))

Great submission! I had fun.

Neat :D Scored 575
Interesting idea, music fits well. I enjoyed it)
Good job@

P.S.: My game is also about atoms, but wave defence against other atoms.

Unfortunately, it does not launch.

Yeah, I didn't think of that in time(
Thanks for playing and review)

Some resources and advice for future:
Use https://freesound.org/, https://www.beepbox.cohttps://pixabay.com for music and SFX.
Don't make game so contrast. Use neutral colors. Also here is palete designer.
Use last 30% of Jam Time to polish game. Give it to friends to test and gather feedback.
Check out, how to optimize game for size on you engine. Also, using UE for this is kinda overkill)
Good luck)

250mb for a text game seems kinda odd. Also, it severely lacks sounds. No music / SFX. Font is too pixelated and contrast, it's too unreadable.
Really hard to comprehend, what's going on, sorry(

That's a cool game. Nice music and story. Sprites on first scene has wrong or not set draw orders, check out this article. 'Car part' made me smile =) I think, music did it thing.
Also, when making gibberish text sounds, make in-out-fade, cause it cracking unpleasantly.
Overall, great job! Had fun playing you game)

Also, greeting from Ukraine :D

That's a cool game, I really enjoyed playing it.
Great visuals and nice cozy music.
On a 80+ day it is too many characters, and I think targets start to stack somewhere. Not sure though, may be I just blind)
Cool tutorial, but it's too much text for the beginning. I know, there is not enough time to make proper tutorial in 96h, but if you are going further with this game, you might wanna embed some gameplay features in tutorial.
Overall, great job! A lot of work done for 96 hours. 15/15

P.S: One more thing. Unity supports WebGL builds. Often on Game Jams people prefer to play web games instead of downloadable ones. WebGL have some issues, my game, for example, have a weird exception on WebGL, when server is not responding.
You can always put both versions, though (WebGL + .exe). Really helps with people traffic on jams.

Thanks for playing and awesome review)
Try to play it again after 5 minutes. You can just die instantly. I think, that might fix you previous entry.
I use free leaderboard server and it just crashes from massive stream of people(

Yeah(
I use free leaderboard server. And it often crashes, because a lot of people from this jam also use it(
Don't know why is it throws an exception, everything works fine from the editor.
But here we go.
Thanks for playing and review)

Damn. Sorry, I thought I covered this case.
Thanks for playing)

Now I know, how procedural generated worlds are created :D
Fun world-building simulator.

Really liked visuals and character rigging. Music is nice.

I only with, there were more levels / potions.

Overall, great job!

Wow, that's a cool game. Great visuals! Music volume is too loud as for me, but the music and SFX themself is awesome. Good job!

Some sort of store would be a great addition. Or it can be a base for a rogue-like game, where you need to prepare every item yourself.
Nice SFX.

I wish there were more enemies than one. Also, all shields seems to break from one attack.

Nice music and SFX. Sound part is a huge deal, a lot of people skip it(

Damn. What a game.

Great visuals, fun to play. MMO as a Game Jam submission?? 🤯
Good job!

That was fun :D

Awesome mechanic, I really enjoyed it. But the game seriously lacks sounds(
You can use something like https://freesound.org/ to find SFX for your game.

That feels like complete project, not a prototype. Gameplay is fun, I enjoyed it. Music is not repetitive and gives a proper vibe. Excellent work! Keep it going.

Also, I didn't expect to see a tutorial in a game jam submission)

Great sounds and visuals!
The dialog system really lacks a skip button instead of automated dialog. There is a sentence, which I can read 10 times for the time it shows and in the cave seems like dialog durations is broken. Missed the whole part. Background for dialog is too transparent as for me.

Also you can have negative hp here😁

In spite of bugs, I enjoyed it! The game has a vibe.

Wow 0_0

Visuals is just incredible. World, character animations.

Stardew Valley with alchemists) (Never actually played Stardew Valley, but looks like it)

Thanks for review)
Level design and design overall is completely new ground for me. I just don't know how to scale/combine new mechanics properly.

The game logo is just epic xD Got my attention.

Cool idea, really stands out from the rest.

Unfortunately, the game lags when you spawn a new object(

I really liked the visuals! It just instantly hooked me up the moment I saw your game. It really gave me a vibe of type of games I played in my childhood. Like "Barnyard", and I not sure why. That was an awesome experience.

There was some troubles with main menu loading. It required to wait until all sounds stopped and only then main menu loads.

That's cool. You can extend it really far, add a lot of new materials, existing or imaginary. And than make a game with simulated surroundings, like Noita.

Thanks for the review)

Initially the intent was for every item to have at least a few absurd actions, that would result in player death (Kick active burner). Eventually player will learn about items/environment and progress further. But a saving system was... troubling and time consuming. So I had to cut out all death colliders, death animation. Pipe puzzles also didn't work out)
