It needs too be connected too their api/LLM for the ai replies to work(think of LLM as the AI's brain/what takes the prompts and info of what the character it is set as and uses those and other text and responds) and the ai software on the in game pc is only doable in the jan also in the jan thing it said you can set your own local LLM up but not in the December one. I feel it would of been smart too release the best form of the demo for when the Kickstarter happened, even though I backed it, isnt really that playable with the December build.

it has to be linked to the patreon, even the free form of it, but can't get the December build too work for free, I even backed the kickstarter and didn't get the jan/up to date build
