Written in C99 with Raylib

how 2 play

DO:

  • Use WASD or Arrow keys to move
  • Point and click to vaporize trash with your Emoji Vision

DO NOT:

  • Obliterate fish with your Emoji Vision (-5 Points)
  • Fly into ducks (Death)

I've been making some pretty decent progress over the last three days.

My game won't be nearly as ambitious or impressive as the other entries, as this is the first game I've made without an engine

Making a game from scratch in pure C with Raylib has provided a great learning experience, and has taught me how to implement a game loop from scratch

When the jam is over, I will be able to apply these newfound concepts to my own engine that I'm working on

The game crashed at the first dialog

For those of you who didn't understand the joke

the goal that lets you reach the next level is a computer tower because the term computer bug came from moths flying into old computers and breaking them

Nice

Thanks! I initially thought no one would like the limited air mobility but it was the only way to add some challenge with that time constraint.

I got my game back!

tell me what you think

nvm I had the submit page open on another tab before the deadline lol

you can play it here: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-2/rate/553043

I guarantee it will be the best game you will have ever played!

Please note that I only had 4 hours to make this :/

You have to submit in order to rate a game

the problem being that I missed the deadline

It doesn't help that I got swamped with work right when the jam started.

I only got 4 hours to work on it :/

Too bad I can't rate it

You just put my game to shame

I didn't realize how long it would take to build a WebGL project.

Jonas said we could reach out to him if something happens when we were trying to submit it

I finished my game right before the deadline but the time ran out while it was building :(

Thanks, Unity! Very cool

If you are reading this, Jonas maybe you could get a link so i could submit my first game jam game.
