Thanks for your work and I enjoyed my time. Read through it in a couple of evenings as when I get into books/stories I tend to power through them.

*Warning* Very light spoilers ahead but I’ll try to keep it vague.

I was already quite interested in the setting and story from the start but I found I became more invested after chapter 3 when things open up more and it feels you have more choices to make and influence on how it all unfolds.

You really do a good job with making some of the even more mundane choices feel surprisingly meaningful among IFs that I’ve read. Even things like hair/eye colour had a couple interesting bits in the story attached to them beyond just being tags for your character’s appearance. I was also impressed with things like your choice of career pursuit and hobby having interactions.

For feedback, not too much to complain about. There were some spelling and grammar mistakes but it wasn’t too frequent and this is still a work in progress. Some more customization options would be nice I suppose? I think it is already quite good though, and I appreciate being able to customize the mc at all. I’m biased in this regard as I really enjoy character creation/customization.

I look forward to more and hope all goes well for you.

Really enjoyed the start for this game. I hope development continues.

Thank you for your work as well on overkill

All the info is in the game. When you are imprisoned, factions that you have decent to high rep with will come to rescue you after a short time. You can speed this along by resting. It is possible that you have no factions with good reputation. A rescue attempt also doesn't guarantee you'll escape as it's just a couple people showing up that will let you out of the cell and aid in your escape.

If you don't like this there are customization options available to you in the game where you can set prison mode to easy so someone will always come to rescue you regardless of reputation and the rescue is guaranteed. I think if you do it this way it's the shopkeeper from the start of the run and she will ask for compensation for rescuing you.

This game (on standard settings) seems to be intended to be a rogue-like adventure where you can fail. If you are stuck in prison and can't get out it might be time to quit your play through and start a new one if you so choose, or load from an earlier point using the codes provided. The game is super customizable and you can change it to be or more or less difficult in areas of your choosing.

Just here to say thanks for the mod!

Cool. Not possible for my character in that play-through to not fail the stat check beforehand as I went on normal difficulty and wanted to try playing as a character that wasn’t absolutely maxed out on everything.

I just left a save there and restarted the game to try choosing some different options. Selected stronger starting options and it’s interesting how much it affects how the beginning plays out.

Thanks for your reply.

My game breaks before the fight with the disciples and tattooed warriors giving the error: "expo_final_1 line 426: sbr doesn't contain label add_injury"

Have tried reloading and doing things a little differently but I can't seem to get around that error on that choice.

The other options advance the story but do not appeal to me =(

Yeah, Cyberpunk was a big disappointment upon release. I just started playing a couple weeks ago after ditching it for nearly 3 years (heard good things about the updates from friends) and it's come a long way.

Really worth a play-through now imo.

*Light spoiler warning*

In a game I started using the most recent version of yuti/overkill I encountered a strange small bug: at the start of the game when Seles is brought aboard the first ship the pirates (mercenaries?) were able to use subdue while Seles was not below the 15% health threshold.

This occurred 3 times and all of them were in combat with both a male and female enemy simultaneously.

After clearing the ship and playing for several more hours it's never happened again. No other mods were installed.

Also thanks for the awesome mod.

Thanks. Sorry for posting in the wrong place.

I just started a game on the most recent version and am having an issue where enemies keep using subdue on seles before she is at the 15% health threshold. It's happening fighting the male/female pirates together on the ship right at the start (didn't happen in the fights before that).

Don't know if I missed an added mod mechanic somewhere that explains this but it's pretty rough when you only have 1 character.

I for one am happy with the sizes. Get tired of when art in games is either thicc girls  or the extreme loli.

Of course I wouldn't be opposed to body customization so everyone can be happy but that would be insanely difficult to implement and likely wont happen.

Oh… well I feel dumb now. Thanks for the reply!

The derek dlc comes as a .rpa file after 1.7.1 and I'm unsure of how to extract it.

Sorry, I explained very poorly. It's not the fact that you become a demon but the physical attribute changes that come with it (the sex-bomb body). I just prefer a more modest look.

As I played more into the game it's kind of a recurring theme that everyone becomes more hyper sexualized and everything tends to enlarge which just doesn't really fit my tastes.

That said I still think the game is good I'm just not quite the target audience. I thought the writing, art, and gameplay loop were enjoyable.

Would be nice to have more control over your character's appearance. The demonification made the character less appealing to me.

Awesome. Excited for Noriko update

I think the art in the game is fantastic overall and am surprised if that first scene in the encounter is the same artist as it looks very different to me. I'm no expert though.

Anyways, hope I didn't sound too rude as it's just a small complaint about a game I think is shaping up really nicely. I've already played through what's available around a half dozen times over the past year or more (hard to remember how long it's been really) and am looking forward to it's completion.

The new art style for the Matt in Mr.Harvey's room blackmail scene is really jarring. It looks quite different from most of the art in the rest of the game and is a downgrade from the old art imo. Then partway through it switches to a different artist that seems more in line with the rest of the game.

It would be nice if we could enable/keep the old art rather than this new one that makes the mc look like a different person.
