Its for the program Quest 5.8,not for Quest hardware :) this is a text adventure game, ran in a parser (program) named quest :)

Follow the link on their page and download quest 5.8. Install it and you can open .quest files no issue :-) If you are on other OS than windows you are out of luck I'm afraid

That is what the empty command is for. Both the use and the empty command works when I test on my end. Would love to know more about what happens when you try making the powder

All the mixes that worked previously still seems to work just fine when I test them. two blue and a red still makes violet when I pour them into the mortar and use it

Download the quest program, install it on your windows computer and open the .quest file.  I've included the latest version of quest in the download for the game.

Nice to participate in such a small jam. Feel a bit bad to be the only submission though.

All you should have to do is give her a treat, then talk to her and pay her for the priviledge :-) Don't mess around too much with the other two girls. Those are more for fun.

If you are on phone or ios it won't work. Same if you are using the app to try and download.

The play? D0 you mean what to do?

Made a list of tasks available in the game's menu so people will know what their tasks are.

You mean in the quest program on windows? You install quest, download a .quest file and open the .quest file. The quest580 file is only the program used to play the games that come in .quest form.

If you mean online: the website that hosts them are known to be a bit on and off. That is something I am looking into correcting in the future (setting up my own server for people to play on), but for now it is all there is.

You will get to see her whenever Blinky crosses her path, and while she's sleeping in bed.

There is, art is made, but will not be added until after the jam is over to keep within guidelines :-) You will probably have noticed a big jump in file size between 0.5 and 0.7, images are in there, just waiting to be set free.

Should be ok now, bug testers haven't found anything new (yet)!

SHower had gone from a container to not being one, making it so it can't be opened. Will upload 0.7.1 soon to fix the issue :-)

Fixed as of 0.5.2. Images for Becca is yet to be added/made. The game jam does not allow AI art, and unless you want some beautifully drawn stick people, you may just have to wait a little before the images for her are added :-)

Now fixed and new file up. Tested on day 2 myself and seems to work as it should :-)

Found the issue, day end code had reset to only work on day one. Will get it fixed in about ten minutes

I felt like I didn't do the genre any kind of justice with my slightly feeble attempts at getting this off the ground. I think I would need a lot more time with RenPy to do it right unfortunately, and for now I don't have that time :)

What is new:

• Images were scaled to fit better
• A lot of the dialogue and script was rewritten.
• Events were updated so they should now trigger at the correct times.
• The three different endings were rewritten and fully implemented.
• The game can now be finished!
• Rooms were given a small overhaul with a few added items just to make them that little bit more interesting.
• More lore was added to the books in the library.

He there, I am sorry, but the competition's hand-in date was set to last Friday as I updated on the discord. So the competiton for the top three spots is lost.
