Only One Week Left for the Warped Kickstarter
Hey everyone, we're into the last week of the 'Warped' TTRPG campaign, so we're switching into overdrive! Please share the campaign on any and all social media platforms you can and help get it to its final goal!
Reach Into The Rift!
In honour of the campaign's final week, I wanted to reveal something big. Introducing 'Reach Into the Rift': Warped's Level Up system! With the unconventional playstyle of 'Warped', in which each Multiversal Form has its own Stats, HP and Powers, levelling up instead offers each player more control over the universe shifting mechanics of the game. Empowered by your dimension hopping exploits, you can use your Warp Points in new ways - opening portals, summoning equipment from other realities and even spawning in alternate universe variants to aid you on the battlefield. Take a look!

Thank You All!
As always, thank you so much for your support! I'm working day and night to bring this crazy, exhilarating passion project to life and I couldn't do it without you. Word of mouth is massively helpful, so every conversation about the game brings it one step closer to fruition - huge thanks for spreading the word!
I'll have more to share in the coming days, stay tuned!
Hey everyone, just found this thread and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Ross, and I am a TTRPG developer. In 2022, I released Lofi Bards To Study And Relax To, and I'm currently working on my new game 'Warped: A Manic Multiversal TTRPG'! The core premise of ‘Warped’ is that you don’t just play a single character. Each Player plays as a team of alternate universe variants of their own character, each with their own powers and abilities. Throughout your missions, you will switch between these Multiversal Forms, using their abilities to fight off your opponents, surpass your obstacles and achieve your goals. Nothing is off the table, meaning your adventuring party can contain everything from a Werewolf to a Cyberpunk and a man Made of Ice Cream. It’s wacky and bizarre, but that’s reflective of the chaotic Multiverse itself!
If you want to check out my work, you can download the 'Warped' demo for free!
Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃
As part of the 'Warped: A Manic Multiversal TTRPG' Kickstarter, I have been revealing new Forms that will appear in the final game! To celebrate Halloween, I teased the Werewolf, Ghost and fully revealed the Vampire Form. The Vampire is perhaps the greatest monsters in all of folklore and fiction, and it makes for a formidable form in 'Warped'. Capable of empowering itself with the blood of its victims, it can fly, move at incredible speed and regain lost Hit Points. It can crawl over every wall, ceiling and rooftop, enthral other creatures to do its bidding and transform into a frenzied swarm of bats that can use sonar to navigate shadowy environments and overwhelm your opponents in a flurry of wings and fangs.
These reveals follow the two previous reveals, the jiggly Jelly Arms and the temporal Time Traveler.
As always, stay tuned for more updates and play the demo for free right here on itch.io! I hope you all have a happy Halloween! Watch some horror movies, get dressed up and enjoy all things spooky and scary! Thanks to each and every one of you for keeping up with the project - I'll have more updates in the coming days.
Hey everyone! Exciting news! My new Kickstarter, Warped: A Manic Multiversal TTRPG, is live now!
'Warped' is an action-packed TTRPG where you travel the Multiverse, switching with your alternate universe variants and using their powers. If you like Everything, Everywhere, All At Once, Rick and Morty or Spider-Verse, this is the tabletop RPG for you!The free Demo is available to play right now, along with a prison escape Adventure Module.
In ‘Warped’ every Player Character has the ability to transform into multiple alternate reality versions of themselves. While your Character might be a Gunslinger from the Old West, you could transform into a post-apocalyptic Wastelander, a shambling Zombie or a version of you hailing from a universe where everyone has Chainsaws For Hands. In the full game, you'll have 100 Multiversal Forms to play as! I'll be revealing more of the forms in the full game as the Kickstarter progresses, so stay tuned!
I've had an amazing time working on the game already, and I'm super excited to show off more of the game as time goes on. It's been so much fun to design and a blast to play with my adventuring parties! I'd love to know your thoughts and hear how your adventures through space, time and dimensions turn out!
Hey Calliope, great question!
So first off, the Nostalgia mechanics are obviously pretty long term from initial Treasured Memory to triggering Nostalgia. At the start of your game, you could ask your players to list three Treasured Memories that their PCs already have, so that they can potentially trigger them during your game. If you're running a certain subject matter in your game that you'd like your PCs to have different opinions on, let them know that they can factor these into their Characters and their Memories.
As GM, you could also build your game's "quest" around helping an NPC or coming to a better understanding of another Character. Maybe it's not so simple as competing in an inter-school competition, but inspiring a reluctant classmate to overcome their nerves and give it their all! Maybe a couple friends are going through a tough time and your PCs have been tasked with helping them ace their test. Or maybe, if it's a more traditional adventure, the obstacles the PCs face are based on their hopes, dreams and anxieties, giving them a lot of opportunities to roleplay and discuss their feelings with their teammates. For a one-shot, you should probably only focus on one or two NPCs so that the party can forge a deep bond with them, or keep the exploration within the group of PCs themselves.
Lastly, you could pick a "quest" that has a time limit. A big test, sports match, musical performance or similar event has an in-universe start and end point. This gives the one-shot a nice structure because the players can start by learning about it, spend time preparing, then finally go all-out for the main event. When their in-universe time is up, the one-shot's over!
I hope these notes help! :)
My game released on Itch and I attempted to send the download keys to all of my Kickstarter backers. Unfortunately, only after I hit send was I notified that I required Admin Approval. I have since been waiting a week for approval, with backers asking me what's going on with their keys. It's been a point of frustration for me over the last week, and while my backers are understanding, it's still not ideal.
I understand this is not a forum to ask how long it will take for support to reply. Instead, I think there should be a Heads Up, or some other sign of not only the need for Admin Approval, but a note stating that it could take over a week for approval to be granted. In doing so, creators would understand the timescale at which approval can be granted, and could factor this into their plans. At present, the notification that appears after you hit send causes annoyance and disrupts release plans - as can be seen from other forum posts when you search "admin approval".
This feature is tiny, but would be massively beneficial and would remove a lot of pressure and frustration from creators who are planning or releasing a title after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Hey all, my new TTRPG - 'POCKET SQUATCHES'- has just launched!
'Pocket Squatches' is a micro-RPG that fits on a series of business cards. You play as a group of Sasquatches who are finding it increasingly difficult to keep their secluded lives hidden from the human world. As you adventure into town in search of reckless hunters, sacred artifacts or candy-stocked vending machines, you will have to use your large size, big feet and uncanny ability to avoid photographers in order to keep you and your people safe.
'Pocket Squatches' is incredibly easy to learn, and with its fun, cutesy aesthetic, its suitable for players of all ages and levels of experience. It's light on rules (the whole game can fit on 3 business cards), heavy on fun, and built for chaotic, silly, fun-loving games with your friends. Each Sasquatch can be customised with a range of abilities - each borne from the mysterious modern mythology of everyone's favourite forest-dwelling ape-men.
And best of all, you can pay whatever you want for it! If you want it for free, go right ahead, and if you want to donate to say thank you, me and my Squatches will be eternally grateful!

Hi everyone, I'm happy to announce that my first mini-TTRPG PRIMORDIAL has just launched on Itch.io! Here's the pitch:
Survive at the Dawn of Time: Hunt, fight and evolve in PRIMORDIAL - a rules light, 3-page tabletop role-playing game for 2 or more players, focused on surviving on a primordial planet. You play as a group of ancient, microscopic creatures with a set of random mutations. As you journey through the world, you will grow in size, mutating further, until you establish yourselves as the dominant species on the planet - or die trying. Start at the size of an amoeba. End at the size of a tyrannosaurus rex.
Gameplay and Combat: Randomly roll up mutations for your microscopic Primordial - do they have a sturdy shell, bulbous eyes, grasping tentacles, or something else? Once your mutations are in place, design your species, give them a gibberish scientific-sounding name and start your adventure. Will their mutations be enough to keep them safe in a world where almost everything wants to eat them? If not, there's always another species looking to take their place on the evolutionary ladder...
Nature is cruel and death is swift. Combat is fast paced and focused on contested rolls. Grab, bite, sting, dodge, spit acid and more in a combat system based on acting, reacting and keeping track of your stamina. Whenever you're in danger, choose your reaction wisely - a counterattack may lead to a swift victory, but be careful not to overextend yourself - run out of energy and you might find yourself powerless in the face of a deadly predator.
"Is this my kind of game?" Primordial is inspired by videogames like Spore, the one-page RPGs of Grant Howitt, and the weird and wonderful creatures of the natural world. With only 3 pages of rules (and another with some alternate themes), it's brief, to the point and easy to learn - even for newcomers to TTRPGs. It's a weird, off-the-wall concept for an RPG that really appealed to me, and I think it'd make for a great low-prep one-shot, or even a short campaign to give you and your players a taste of something new!
I'd love to hear what you all think of it, I had a blast creating it and I'm planning on releasing new content in the future if there's demand for it. I'd love to see what strange little critters people make in it too, so if you ever doodle, draw or sculpt your own Primordial, please send it my way :)
