Very fun and very cool. The amount of humans who pop up can get quite overwhelming and the platformer controller could use some polish (coyote time, jump buffering, the character also sticks to walls in quite an odd way). But besides some nitpicky details, its a lot of fun!
(would love if you tried my game too)
I recreated most of the sprites using reference images, but for Bario and Luigo I found someone who uses the same pixel art website I use who recreated Mario and Luigi. I just recolored these since I couldn't figure out how to make them look good on my own. Here's a link to the original creator of the mario sprites: https://www.pixilart.com/art/mario-sprite-sheet-c8cb88f1ea7ee2d
Edit: I left a rating on your game!
Very fun game, can't believe it was made in just one week. Could still use some polish tbh. There are a few things that felt quite off. The way the camera follows the player is quite annoying, and the jumping is way too floaty, but an overall very fun game!
(Would appreciate it if you tried my game, its quite short)
The long stretches of land where you just do nothing are frustrating, sometimes feels like you're not even moving, and there are a few soft locks that are extremely annoying since there aren't any checkpoints. The amount of deadzone on the camera is wayyy too high for my liking, especially without some lookahead time.
Game was quite fun tho
Amazing concept, I have a few comments to make. The camera makes it annoying to play (checkout a cinemachine 2d tutorial). I would highly recommend using some movement smoothing similar to what Brackeys has in his 2d character controller. The game design is good and it would be a lot more fun if the camera were better. (I'd love if you tried out my game, I used the movement smoothing and have a cinemachine 2d camera if you'd want to checkout how those work).
