Thank you so much for playing the demo and for the feedback. It's very much appreciated :) you missed so much as you were scurrying through it, you skipped 2 whole scenes lol.
There is already a volume slider in the pause menu, there will be a settings option on the main title screen of the final release, I just haven't got around to doing it for the demo.
Yes, there is a way to cut the loading screen out altogether. Instead of creating a loading transition while loading the next scene, will actually load/unload scenes in the background, but apparently, this will be a lot more work on a project that's already quite far in development. Definitely for future projects though, and yes, I could always add a load bar. That's a good idea.
Well, the car at the start was more of a joke with all the different music. You've been changing the car radio for over an hour only to get a song about dog farts.
Have a great day & thank you for the 5 stars :D
Thank you so much for playing the demo, I really enjoyed your video, especially your reaction to all the music lol, Hopefully this game will give everyone a good laugh and a few good scares, that's my aim :) Like my first game demo it is designed to give a little taster of what the full game will be like, I like to keep a bit of mystery to the story. Yes, the scene with the text scroll will be different in the final version, the camera smoothness will also change, its great getting all the feedback and I can make the changes needed for (hopefully) everyone to have an enjoyable experience. That's great there's no issues with the brightness :D
Thank you so much for playing the demo and thank you for the feedback, The game is still in its early stages and all the feedback will help me in building the final release.
The smoothness feature on the camera can be turned off, in fact I think it would be good to add a camera smoothness option in the menu so the player can decide what they like.
Yes, that's a great idea for when you read the journal, I will look at changing this.
The game controller uses a raycast and also a reach tool, the distance on both can be easily changed.
If I removed all loading screens you would have a really long load time after the main menu, the player would have to wait for for the full game to load all objects, scripts, animations everything, I feel its best to have short loading times in-between each scene and there's going to be lots of scenes in this game.
Thanks again for playing the demo and for the feedback I really appreciate it, best of luck with your demo too I will be following your progress :)
Thank you so much for playing the demo. I'm really happy you enjoyed it.
I like to build the story up, getting more and more intense as the player progresses through the game, you will just have to wait and see how worse things get :)
It's going really well thanks. It would be great to release the full game in 2024, but there's still a long way to go. I want to make it a longer experience while keeping the story interesting for the player, so we will see.
The Immemorial Order II Sisters of Darkness Demo is now available to download and play.
Story
You’ve clocked in for yet another monotonous shift at the warehouse, the scent of tobacco hanging heavily in the air. You glance at the article on your phone: “Shadows over Bricksmore.” The title sparks a flicker of excitement in your otherwise drab existence. “Is it real?” you mutter to yourself, fingers itching to explore the mystery of The Royal Immemorial Order of Ophidia further. Back home you research late into the night, but find little. Just old videos and vague rumors of gatherings deep in the woods. Frustrated but fueled by curiosity, you decide to set off on your own investigation.
Gameplay
The Immemorial Order II Sisters of Darkness Demo is primarily a spooky, atmospheric, first-person walking simulator that doesn't take itself too seriously. There is also a Drunken Weasel song Easter Egg hidden in this demo, happy hunting :)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)
Thank you so much for playing. It was so much fun watching your video :D I'm really glad you enjoyed the game, and thank you for the feedback. A lot of people have said the same about the keys in the mansion, so I have taken that on board. I guess looking around a big mansion isn't as fun as I thought it would be haha. I think you were playing an older version as the bug that lets you finish the game with only 5 keys has being fixed now. Yes, this was my first ever game and the next Immemorial Order game is in the works right now :D Thank you so much for your continued support. It is very much appreciated and means the world to me :D The next game there will be 12 keys to find.... Only joking :D Have a great day
Thank you, I really appreciate it. This is the full version of this short game that adds a little bit more to the story of my other game The Immemorial Order. It's only available on itch.io right now but might be available on other platforms in the future, The original game is available on Itch.io and Steam. Have a great day :)
The Immemorial Order VHS is primarily a short atmospheric first-person walking simulator.

Thank you so much for playing the game, and thank you for the feedback. I tried to keep the game as realistic as I could, and I have to say I'm really sorry about how dark the game is on your video. It definitely wasn't designed that way. It's strange that on my computer and laptop, through testing that it doesn't look anywhere near as dark as that, so I will take a look at this issue and there will be an update probably later today or tomorrow. Thanks again and have a great day :)
Edit: Brightness slider now added to the pause menu & improved lighting in the darker scenes of the game.
Hey Daniel,
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, playing a dark atmospheric horror game during the day while you can see the reflection of yourself on the screen definitely won't be of much help in finding anything. For the next update I will look at adding a brightness slider to the settings menu and, hopefully, this will help you find your way in the dark sections of the game.
I decided to add puzzles to the game to mix it up a bit and make it a bit more interesting for the player, kind of like a Resident Evil-style game. I don't want to give too much away, but every time you pick up a new key, something changes.
I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the story and the game ran well. Yes, this game was in development for 15 months, working on it every day. Also, if you decide to play the game in the future, it will be saved on the last scene you were playing.
Thank you so much for playing, and hopefully you will have a much more enjoyable experience in a future update. Have a great day :)
Thank you so much for giving the updated demo another go and, yes, it has been made a bit shorter than the first version as the first version was kind of testing the water as this is my first ever game. The feedback was amazing, and it really helped me push the game in a direction that hopefully everyone would have an enjoyable experience playing the full version :)
Yes, I could always add a little flashing icon on all the lamps and light switches in a future update. I know Dweeb Gaming had the same issue but everyone else said it adds to the atmosphere, so that's the reason why I haven't changed it. I could see everything in the dark just fine watching your video, so it might be because you played in the daytime, maybe. I will definitely sort it out in a future update if everyone is getting lost in the dark.
That's awesome thank you so much for all your feedback and making another video on the demo I really appreciate it and all your support means the world to me.
Have a great day :)
The Immemorial Order is a Horror, comedy, story-rich walking simulator.
