Nice smooth controls and an awesome mechanic! Loved it

Took me three tries to make it through the night. I loved the artwork, all the different ghosts and the character are so cool looking!

This game is pretty punishing, but I didn't even and because the game-over state was so cool!

Amazing art, and great atmosphere!

Really loved the art and sound design! The only thing is this game is pretty tough, would have loved a bit of a tutorial or easer section to learn the mechanics first, but once I figured it out after a few deaths it was a lot of fun finding the keys and avoiding the cultists!

Hi SeeOne! I love your pixel art style. I've done a few jams before and am planning to do some kind of 2d-pixelated horror/survival game for this jam. Feel free to check out my itch here for my past jam entries, and let me know if you're interested in teaming up! My discord is william_pilliam

Hi all! I'm a programmer/developer with a few jams and ~5 years experience looking to give 3D a try for this jam. I'm hoping to keep it simple (low poly, top down, think OverCooked) in order to focus on polish and fun gameplay. If you're interested, feel free to DM me on discord, username is: william_pilliam or drop a note here!

HI! I'm a unity developer(5+ years hobby experience) looking for a 3D artist (or team - as it looks like you may have already paired up with JediMatt?) to work on a simple top down style 3D game for this Jam (something cute and simple like OverCooked, but matching whatever theme is announced). I've really only done 2D for jams before, but since this is a longer jam I was hoping to give 3D a try. You can see my games on my itch profile: https://williambertrand.itch.io

Loved it! Level progression was well thought through and the controls were intuitive. Level 14 was tough! Lots of fun, well done!

Loved the sounds! I think this could use some more difficult enemies, but I liked the chain reaction concept of having enemy's particles damage other enemies!

This was very impressive for being done in just one weekend! The gameplay is a really cool idea and changing my deck was really cool. I definitely ran into a few bugs though, like somehow when I tried to play a second time it said I was on wave 100 and nothing spawned? It was already pretty fun, but with some bug fixes and polish this could be a really awesome game! Well done!

I thought the simplistic art style worked really well, and was nicely polished. I did find it pretty tough to get any satisfying connections with the mace, but a very interesting and unique mechanic! It might just need some tweaking to really feel smooth (or I might just need some more practice with it haha)

Great job on this! The visuals were amazing! And watching your hammer fly around is really satisfying. I didn't realize you could step on the enemy (eggs?) before they hatched, it got a lot easier once I figured that out haha.

Great Job! I really liked the art! think some instructions/quick tutorial about the controls would be really helpful.

The artwork was really great! And the concept was cool, I really wanted to protect all my lambs from the hazards! I found this to be quite challenging though... perhaps a slower start, where there are only a few hazards to worry about, would help get the player more gradually introduced. But great job on the game!

The visuals and sound effects were really well done. I could have used a little more instructions on the goal/movement of the characters, but once I figured it out it was a lot of fun!

It would also be nice if clicking the Leaderboard button didn't act as a game input (I wasted a tile by trying to open the leaderboard Xd)

Great music and visuals! I also loved the menu system. All around very impressive for a game done in a single weekend!

Great use of the theme, and amazing visuals! This was a lot of fun to play through. I thought the first few levels were great for explaining how to play. Would love to see some harder levels added!

Getting a long chain is really satisfying and fun! Great use of the theme and the visuals were really well done! Would be cool if the ships had a bit more of an effect on exploding to make it even more satisfying to get a chain, but really well done!

Great point, I will add a way to show the instructions while playing in an update! Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing and the kind words! Glad you liked it!
