Noted! The spawning rate of the doom blobs does increase each time you evolve, but there's definitely more than could be done to keep the game interesting! Thanks for playing and providing feedback!

Ooh, that's a cool idea! It would give added danger to the poison! Or, if the player was willing to take the health loss, it would be a way to switch mutations.

And yes, a timer is definitely needed. It was on the to-do list but unfortunately I ran out of time (the irony of which is not lost on me)

Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

Thank you!

This is an ambitious game! I enjoyed the feeling of exploration and discovery with each playthrough and use of the globe as an interface was clear and effective.

I didn't quite feel like I had a solid grasp on how the economy worked (I made it all the way through on the third attempt, where I mainly focused on food production), though once I went back and read the tips in the description, things made a bit more sense! Really cool concept with a great design choice in the globe!

The grappling mechanic is a great idea! It gives the player a ton of freedom to move around in the environment (It took a little bit of getting used to, but once I had a handle on it, it worked really well!) I think if you just add some textures to the environment, you'll have a nice, finished piece!

(and my high score was 15!)

This was fun! I like the concept of building up your slime over the course of 30 days, and that different foods appear to have different effects. I also like the idea of engaging in different length races, which require different strategies.

The one thing I wasn't clear on was what the benefit of the "Pass Time" button. I used it several times and while I could see the hours progressing, it didn't seem to change any of the percentages (maybe I didn't use it enough?). Other than that, it was a a fun experience!

This is a really polished game! I like the clean, simple art style and the mechanic with moving the plants around works really well. The levels are well-designed and are challenging without being overly difficult.

My only minor observation was that the hit detection on the spring flowers seemed a little finicky at times, however this could also have just been my mediocre ability with platformers.

Overall a really solid, well made game! Great work!

I think this is a great take on the theme!  Would love to see it expanded upon with more challenges.

Thank you!

This is a fun game! It's an interesting take on the Snake mechanics, and the puzzles are deceptively tricky! The rodents add a great sense of danger as well.

My one piece of feedback, it did become a little tedious to have to press the direction arrow every time to move. Besides that however, it's a really enjoyable game with a clever concept!

Interesting game idea! I like the concept of the orb absorbing enemy fire. Unfortunately I was playing this on a keyboard which made it difficult to control the orb effectively. I think if I had a controller it would have handled a lot better (this is not the game's fault, just unfortunate circumstance).

I do agree with vimino that the light gray background clashes a bit with the game assets, but other than that, I enjoyed the minimalist design of the ship and enemies! Nice work!

Fun game! I had played through the first 10 levels before I even realized what was happening!

I enjoyed how the mechanics evolved as the game progressed. My only minor feedback would be to maybe include a setting for the player speed? The movement felt a little slow as the game went on. Other than that, this is an inventive, well-designed puzzle game!

This is a clever idea! It's a fun re-imagining of a classic game mechanic, and an interesting take on the theme.

Thank you!

re-uploaded!

re-uploaded as a zip with both the .exe and .pck

Thanks again for the tip, this is both my first game jam and first time using Godot, so there's definitely some growing pains!

thank you!

Thanks for the heads up
