Hello, I hope your day isn’t going too bad so far?

I forgot I posted here

I’m going to do this tomorrow and tell you all the details
im sure I was on 11 but I’ll check when I next go on it

Off topic

There’s an app called 4xvr basically another video player but it don’t support peripherals wireless so it’s useless which is why I got this player

But there’s one thing that would make it killer which I think a lot of people would maybe use too?

In 4xvr it’s called USB OTG

Basically if you connect a usb c ssd drive it can literally play Video from it

I’m sure a lot of people would use it as then you don’t need any pc or use the quest storage for videos

Especially for travel  and stuff

So I don’t think it would be a feature that would be a waste of time or anything

If you click on usb otg on 4xvr basically it has a pop up saying allow drive or something

So idk if u can reverse engineer it

Hello, I hope your day isn’t going too bad so far?

I’m using the quest 3 on the latest version

The first thing I’m trying to find is how to adjust the zoom in and out speed as it’s painfully slow lol
I found an old post saying to adjust the setting called

Increment Origin Forward

But I can’t find it anywhere

Looked in advanced and basic section

The second thing is more generic and that is every time when I press the home button that brings up the menu which says resume or quit app and home bar

Once I press resume it guarantee crashes the app

For example if I’m watching a video and want to do a web browser search then go back into the video it crashes without fail

Would it be possible to look into this, please? thank you sincerely for responding to me, Your kindness is appreciated. I hope this is not a hassle for you and Have a Wonderful day ahead! :)

lmfao

I do that on pc too

I just max out games cuz I’m too graphics based

Like the new assassin creed I have a rtx 2060 but it does lag a bit however on pc it don’t matter as much

This was unplayable doing that

Would you prefer 120hz and then whatever settings it can run at

Or would you say it’s better to have lower hz and higher graphics with no lag?

Idunno if it’s noticeable the hz thing as some people use 72

I’d love a pure quest 3 one

I literally only play onward tbh lool

And I’m just a graphics guy

Then again I suppose I could probably just turn everything to the max and see if it causes lag.

I tried before I got this in sideloadly

I turnt everything to max

Max textures

Max refresh rate

Max resolution

and it wasn’t lagging but idk why it caused a weird like

Idk can’t explain it but when waving my hand it was almost a delay like it was at 30hz lol

But it want lagging say when I look around though

unless that is what lag is for quest

I’m expecting lag like pc games where it’s choppy but

…. Bad news…….. it’s the headset.

Good news… it ain’t nothing to do with this

Like at all.

You can try replicate it.

There’s a tun of people I just found out who have This bug.

And that is.. when you take a screenshot and then after take a video

Start and stop it don’t matter how long.

Do this in the main menu

And then literally just Look left and right

Fast or medium speed

And basically it’s causing crazy green artifacts bruh.

How do I fix this weird glitch in contracters?

So far it’s the only game that’s doing it on quest 3

It’s on the default HD+

there’s this weird thing where there’s a bunch of pixels that go green everywhere when looking around. If I stay still it don’t do it.

Also are the defaults the best it can look without lag? I want to make onward look the absolute best for the quest 3

So not sure if it auto detects what quest I’m on? Since this came out for quest 2 originally is it optimising it for quest 2?
but what would anyone say the absolute max settings are for onward without it lagging
