Hello, I hope your day isn’t going too bad so far?

I’m using the quest 3 on the latest version

The first thing I’m trying to find is how to adjust the zoom in and out speed as it’s painfully slow lol
I found an old post saying to adjust the setting called

Increment Origin Forward

But I can’t find it anywhere

Looked in advanced and basic section

The second thing is more generic and that is every time when I press the home button that brings up the menu which says resume or quit app and home bar

Once I press resume it guarantee crashes the app

For example if I’m watching a video and want to do a web browser search then go back into the video it crashes without fail

Would it be possible to look into this, please? thank you sincerely for responding to me, Your kindness is appreciated. I hope this is not a hassle for you and Have a Wonderful day ahead! :)

Hi, to adjust the zoom speed, you first need to go to the keybindings menu (bottom of the left side panel). Then click on motion controller at the top, scroll down about 2/3 down the list, and find the "Increment Origin Forward" keybindings. Change the scale value on those keybindings to change the zoom speed.

For the crash issue, which version of HereSphere are you using? Can you click on "User Guide" at the bottom of the left side panel, then about, to see the version number. I think the crash issue should be fixed on v0.11.0. Let me know if it still crashes on the newest version.

There’s an app called 4xvr basically another video player but it don’t support peripherals wireless so it’s useless which is why I got this player

But there’s one thing that would make it killer which I think a lot of people would maybe use too?

In 4xvr it’s called USB OTG

Basically if you connect a usb c ssd drive it can literally play Video from it

I’m sure a lot of people would use it as then you don’t need any pc or use the quest storage for videos

Especially for travel and stuff

So I don’t think it would be a feature that would be a waste of time or anything

If you click on usb otg on 4xvr basically it has a pop up saying allow drive or something

So idk if u can reverse engineer it

I also get an immediate app crash as soon as I either double tap the quest to activate passthrough or press the meta menu button on the right controller. Meta quest 3 with version 11.1 of Heresphere and Quest software version 67.

The crash bug is still there on 0.11.3. But its only happening on the pirated version. After trying the demo on the quest store which also runs on 0.11.3 and seeing that it runs fine I bought the full version. And no more crashes occured.

So yeah I guess Karma is slapping me for being lazy / cheap. No idea if this is actual "piracy detection" or just a bug. The software is worth it to me so I take that slap and I am happy to have no more crashes :-)
