Both peon to slave and dates work in 0.3.0c they can just be difficult to notice.

For turning a peon to a slave, go to the slave market, then select the sell tab (don't sell the character), and then select the character you want to enslave, look down near the upgrade button and an enslave button will appear. Just a warning better peons cost more to enslave.

For dates you need to select only the character you want to go on a date with. If you select any other characters (even selecting yourself) it will not work.

(1 edit)

This is a simple list of some bugs and issues I ran across while messing around for a few hours, most of these are not absolutely critical to the games functionality but the first was an easily repeatable CTD and some of the others may cause issues in the background that I think caused another CTD that I was unfortunately unable to duplicate.

CTD

  • Attempting to change location of the character list (show all/mansion and the like) while a social skill is selected will crash the game

    • to replicate start a new game have your a character select a social skill and them click on show all

UI

  • Some of the things in town don't properly close after leaving them in unexpected ways
    • Example 1: After selecting a guild change to the mansion and then back to Aliron and try selecting the same guild, it will now take a double click instead of a single click to open
    • Example 2: In a hire menu click "Show Info". Click the X to exit the info screen and the hire menu will still be open in the background even though its not visible. This is most obvious with the slave market as the button is still highlighted but is noticeable with the other hire menus as they now also take a double click in order to reopen
    • Example 3: Go into the upgrades portion of the slave market and click the X to exit, the same issue as with example 2 will occur except that the slave market no longer is highlighted
    • Example 4: Go into a guild menu and click on both hire and upgrades, they will open on top of each other. Then click the upgrades repeatedly to open and close it. Now if you use the right click to try and close the hire menu you will have to right click an additional time for each time you clicked the upgrade button.
  • In a certain case the X button on class details no longer works
    • Run the game and load or start a save. In the selected character details section of the mansion page you can right click to open details about a class that a character has. Right now you are still able to close that detail popup with either the X button or a right click. If you load a save again (without restarting the application) and open the class details again the X button will no longer close the popup.

Character Creation

  • You can change a characters race as the final part of character generation they will carry over some body parts, like tails and horns, that they normally should not have. By using the character template loading you can also mess it up even further by changing the sex without the game realizing something is wrong.
    • I think it just needs to have descriptions reset after changing race or sex, as it seems like it does that already after a class is selected
  • Templates on starting slaves don't save PHY WIS CHA SEX or MAG stats instead setting them to 1 which often resets the class as well
  • The starting slave template also doesn't change the type (slave vs peon) instead leaving it as it was

QOL things

  • Currently there is no way to exit the character creation after it has started, this is only really an issue if you chose sandbox on accident and now have to click though the minimum requirements to get back out of it
  • On the character info screen the loved food icon has a tool-tip but the hated food icon does not
  • On the character info screen the race is listed like a hyperlink and has a tool-tip that is different than all the other tool tips

    • its not static instead it moves based on where the cursor entered the text, however if you enter the text from the left and move your mouse right you can end up having the cursor hovering over the tool-tip instead of the text for an instant, causing the tool-tip to be removed, but that means that now the cursor is hovering over the text so the tool-tip reappears. Which looks extremely glitch
  • On the character info screen the classes at the top say you can right click for details, but right clicking them doesn't open up class info
    • this isn't really major but it means you need to exit back to the mansion page if you want to look at what the already learned classes give a character

There were a few other very minor more ocd type things that I had found, but they don't affect game play.  If i find other things I'll make an edit or comment as necessary. Overall though I'm excited to play around with the fancy new UI and update.

Bugs

  • in the Traits file dislike_tits has the code dislike_fingering, so no new slaves dislike tits and some (very rarely) end up doubling down on their dislike of fingering, in addition the cods under the reqs part of dislike_tits has two typos, tijob --> titjob, sucknipple --> sucknipples
  • the 209ontopanal file is using the sexv instead of sexa on its ongoing and reaction sections, so the position has the second half of it read as vaginal instead of anal
  • slave requests currently always use numerical factor values instead of changing with the "factors as words" option

Possible Bugs or Weird Interactions

  • not completely sure if its a bug or intended but the breeder class no longer requires the cattle class so it can appear on new slaves but its still disabled so it can't be unlocked normally
  • the escape button seems to not be an on release function like the right mouse button, so if you press escape for a bit to long it can both open and close the menu on you, holding it will constantly open and close the menu
  • the assassin classes crit chance bonus doesn't appear to change anything when you look at a combatants stats in battle, I not sure if it has an issue, if it just isn't set up to show the stat change or if I'm misinterpreting its functionality

Ideas I think would be cool

  • adding in some race exclusive jobs, specificaly letting arachna weave silk
  • adding in a loves oral to go with the anal and breasts
  • allowing for deepthroat without the ring gag if the taker has submissive or masochist or if added likes oral
  • having the action visibility toggles not reset each interaction
  • some additional positions, biting things like ears/neck/tail, choking, gagging, standing sex
  • a group of magic classes that are elemental based, specifically my thought on this is making it so that you can only choose one of them by making it a req to not have any of the other classes in this group

So ambergrain is right as far as increasing the actions in an interaction but I think you wanted interactions per day. The way to do that is to go into the Mansion.gd file and find the advance_day function and change the state.daily_interactions_left to equal the number of interactions you want. This means that every new day the interaction number will be set to your value instead of 1. A couple of important things to note. It will not change the initial value (on day one) you would need to change the value in the gamestate file to do that. It will also show up as x/1 daily interactions left when you look at it in game. The "1" is hard coded in the InteractionSelectionPanel.gd file and can  be changed to match the desired number. Alternatively if your familiar with coding you could create a new variable for max daily interactions and tie both things to it..

I'm not sure if this is strictly a bug or just hasn't been finished yet but generic bodyparts like height, skin, hair and eye color don't randomize unless the race has that bodypart listed in their race's bodyparts. Instead they just default to what is in the CharacterClass file so every halfkin has black hair, brown eyes, fair skin and is average height.

If I am understanding you right you want to add a body image for the player character. The only way I have found to do that is to go to the portrait selection for the player character and click assign both at the bottom right of the selection panel. Then as long as you have a body image with the same name and under the same folder sets as the portrait image it will set both the portrait and the body to that image.

Yeah, as TheDarkn3ss said just search for your character's name in the save file. Search for agi_base afterwards and it will bring you to the stats block for your character. Agi is agility, str is strength, end is endurance, and maf is magic affinity. Max is the highest level you can level it up to, base is what level its leveled up to and  mod is just a bonus. You can also add things like traits but the stat effects from them are not retroactive.
