she just like me frfr

the story was touching and well-written and i loved the artstyle! the gameplay reminds me of the ice puzzles in the older pokemon games, very fun

really accurately captures the feelings of everyone at the height of the pandemic, playing this now really does feel like opening up a time capsule. crazy to think about how it really wasn't actually that long ago, and in some ways it never even ended, the repercussions of the outbreak and the response from those in power are something we're still dealing with to this day

the artstyle and tone of this game is like candy to my eyes and brain

fun artstyle, was definitely tense getting chases around the room by the old lady

super challenging but really really fun, love the inclusion of a leaderboard!!

i can feel him judging me for every mistake i make

fun platformer, some of the jumps were challenging and chasing the robot up the tower was fun. some sound effects or music would've been nice just to have something playing in the background as you progress through the level :)

extremely touching, definitely able to see how much sincerity and effort was put into the story. also great work being able to take a more lighthearted approach to some very heavy subject matter!

ah, sorry about that :( we will try to put out a fix for different screen sizes once the game jam rating period is over

<3

everything about this game is unbearably cute, especially the way they're all bobbing their heads in sync with each other oh my god, it's also very fun and addicting to play! and definitely chaotic!!

the time slow mechanic is a really fun idea! it would have been nice if there was a health/life system, the insta-death mechanic felt a little harsh, especially if you'd gotten a good chunk of a level done already

super fun idea, loved the music too was very fitting for when you're racing around trying to optimize knocking things off of the tables and shelves lol

love the artstyle, something about playing this makes me feel nostalgic for the browser games i used to play on the internet when i was a kid, was very fun!

love to be a cat utterly destroying an entire city with my antics

super fun idea! the idea of counting cats in the dark is super cute. it'd be cool if there were some more variations as the game went on, like maybe some cats blink or wander offscreen or something

vibes are extraordinary, the art and music choice are great, as a fully fleshed out game this would be soo nice and relaxing to play. the overlap of themes from the different jams was really cool to see as well!

i like the player cat model, and it was fun trying to spot the rats under the trees. i would've liked it if the acceleration was a little bit gentler, i found myself running into walls quite a bit, and adding some sound effects would do a lot for the gamefeel as well!

the player sprite is very cute, it's fun that it looks like you're kinda doing a little dance as you're moving around the screen :) it would be fun if there were  a couple more enemy varieties, maybe there could be some that move around the screen or chase you as the game goes on

very cute! love the art style it's so fun to look at, i do wish there was audio though, even just like a little music loop playing in the background would've been extra special

very cute and fun those chameleon rats are tricky

extremely cute!!

love the way the cat slides from space to space, fun music too

a cat wielding a small firearm will always be a timeless idea

a cat wielding a small firearm will always be a timeless idea

it's my life's dream to be a cat with really long stretchy arms

beautiful experience, i loved the music

nails the visual tone of a GBC-era platformer perfectly

ty!

ty for the kind words :)

long distances

"hibernation"

tysm!

ah okay, you can get to the next part of the dream by walking to the other side of the bridge from where you started. sorry that that wasn't made super clear, thank u for playing regardless!

hi, sorry about that, when you get stuck does it just go to a black screen, or are you in the part of the dream with the bridge?

thank you, much appreciated

first off, this is really really cool, thank you for doing this, i love seeing all the games in arcade cabinets like this :)

i think i didn't initially set my submission to be downloadable, but i've uploaded a downloadable zip file to the project now, if it could be included in a future update

sorry about that, when i first uploaded it there were quite a few bugs i didn't get a chance to fix, and that was one of them. i went through and cleaned up all the jank and some of the writing, so it should be in a much better state now (you can even get to the ending)! even if you don't want to go back through it and see the ending which i'd totally get, thanks for playing, and thanks for the kind words :)
