Okay, that's probably the one I need to double-check then. Thank you!

Anywhere where we can find a list of the updates to existing content? 😅

I'll give it a peek!

A friend of mine always preferred "gaily forward" to "straight"

Done! 👻

I could be wrong, but I think you mean "Go on LIVING" and not "Go on LINING"

Looks like a lot of fun!

Author always arranges airy alliterations. 😅

I'm sorry, I thought I had! Done!

Interesting because I was thinking of making a science fantasy hack of this... Why doesn't it work for SF?

Finally a Fighting Fantasy hack that isn't "roll under, except in combat". I particularly like how Special Skills are binary, just allowing you to use Skill instead of Luck for certain actions.

What? No exclamation point? I thought every Fighting Fantasy based hack had to have an exclamation point, like Troika!Warlock!Denizen! or Fight and Sorcery! 😅

Yeah, I think two is the right amount, and then let people make up more for their tables.

This is so charming, a perfect little nugget of wonder and whimsy

I love how the images say way more than the words

Very interesting idea, especially in any game with lots of classes / playbooks / templates...

Now I want to know what the other pieces do...

BTW, I added two alternative versions... A longer one (the original draft) and a shorter one (based partially on your comments).

You would have hated the original version, which was even longer. 😅

Simple yet with many implications...

BTW, I updated the text so it was shorter (and in a larger font)

Thank you! And yeah, I'm not really trying to argue; it's the best I could do at the time. I'm using V2, yeah, and I'm 200% a hobbyist / learner when it comes to layout. Thank you again for looking at this, and for the feedback!

I've used smaller and it's been OK. That said, I can't be sure until it's actually printed. Some fonts are better than others for small print.

"Pick it up today and get these two mysteries and the three more R. Rook is adding in 2024 from Bridgett Jeffries, Viditya Voletti, and James Estes."

Doesn't seem like there's anything here to download?

Okay, that makes more sense for the dagger.

And I think we're saying the same thing on defense. 👍

Well, I can't speak to the accuracy of the translation because I'm an ugly American who only speaks English. While I could nitpick the English phrasing, I understood it well enough, which is the important thing!

I had only two questions:

1. I assume the damage listed for the dagger is a typo, yes? 1d6+8 damage would be better than a greatsword!

2. The rule for defense... Is this a game where the GM doesn't roll, so instead of the monster rolling to hit, the player rolls to defend? Or is that rule for when the character takes their whole turn on defense?

Those two questions aside, I find the use of a 2d6 curve instead of the flat d20 to be fascinating. 10 is an interesting threshold with the CT bonus of 2 to start. In general, I like the way the classes and statistics interact.

I also like the magic system... I like how it's freeform but not completely unrestrained.

No worries, it happens to everyone. I end up putting version numbers on my PDFs as I make corrections LOL

If you get a chance, definitely let me know how it goes!

Yes! Much better with the second page! I like how things lead up to the mirror, but not right away.

Yeah, that would make a big difference! 👍

Really appreciate the clear, up-front explanation of what's going on and how to stop it early on in the adventure. Awesome use of the Doom Clock.

Manager being on a PIP is too real. 😅

Hmm. Very interesting. Definitely want to see this finished, at least for one of the systems .

(1 edit)

Okay, holy fuck, my entry for this jam also has stability pylons. Like I literally use the same term LOL.

Even incomplete, this is great stuff. Tho the Voidcrawl procedure worked well enough, I wish I'd known about depth crawls when I wrote mine

Really looking forward to seeing this finished!

This really needs some sense of how to defeat or appease the demon. All I can find is how to "satisfy" it and it amounts to a single character sacrificing themselves. There need to be examples of other options, even if accidental or on-purpose self-sacrifice is definitely something I feel should be on the table. All that said, I love the general premise.

This is, no lie, the best example of a Voidcrawl I've ever seen. Definitely better than the official examples like The Bloom.

Interesting thought exercise, at the very least.

This has a lot of potential. I like it a lot. Maybe add a Fallout table that makes things easier on the PCs as they accumulate Fallout?

This is great. Like how it can lead into either The Bloom or The Bureau.

One of the best time loop scenarios I've seen!

Really tightly written. Especially like the "puzzle" with the Attendant / Darkroom.

For unrelated reasons, I've had this song stuck in my head for days.

Great adaptation. For some reason I love this hunting ground: "At gyms, asking questions about routines or purposefully using the equipment in an incorrect manner."
