Sadly I had to play it alone, but I can imagine this game as a fun party minigame (or a drinking game). It seems like there are some hidden mechanics which aren't explained anywhere (itch page or the game). Love the soundtrack and reactivity to key pressing. Nice work on polishing!
If you used the scalpel tool then the Apply tool doesn't work. The other tools should work. Another reason could be if the organ is spawned without any fungi, in that case you need to restart the whole game.
