Very cute characters and pleasant artstyle. I say going forward the mechanics should be better explained and the level design should be improved. But color me intrigued as I will be following the progress!

I think this game has alot of potential, but the layout of the hub is hard to navigate, and the lighting doesn't do help visual cohesion. I think the character is just a tad stiff, and while running helps, I don't entirely see the point in having it wear off after a while. I think with all the collectibles being so far spread out, death shouldn't make you lose all your progress in the way that it does. I understand it's a prototype so I'm willing to be lenient but I feel like I didn't have as much fun as I wanted to. That being said, I will be following progress and looking forward to more you cook up in the future.
Hey, I'm $adiq! If you're looking for a composer, I'm available! I mostly specialize in funk and DnB, but I can do a multitude of genres, including 8bit/Genesis inspired chiptune. Here's some of my work below and just shoot me a message if you're looking to collab!

This game is awesome! The grungy clay aesthetic of the art is so appealing, and the titular Gob is such a has a great design. I think the only qualm I have is the game might be a little too cryptic for its own good sometimes. I like the no text or dialogue approach but it makes it hard to figure out what to do. Only after looking up you can crawl and fuse objects together did I figure out what to do. I noticed all the controls are actually in the phone menu, and I think that if the game started with you mapping controls through that, it would better introduce the mechanics. That being said, I did manage to complete the game, and I'm VERY much looking forward to more in the future.
This is really awesome! A few things I'd say to do are make a tutorial level where it explains how the Item and Shot work. I was able to figure it out, but it should still be more clear. It's a very good mechanic though. Another thing, mostly a nitpick on my part, but I think the main character is very generic looking. Maybe give them a hat or something, just to diminish the similarities to Kirby. That being said, the graphics are very crisp and vibrant, the gameplay is fast paced, and I cant wait to see this game further enhanced!
