Thanks man, I've got a lot planned for this game, where and when to add the fan service is defiantly a top priority for this title!

Yeh the foundation of that code isn't super great... I don't think I can fix the problem without doing the code all over from the start again...

But hey as I continue to practice this sort of stuff should get fewer and fewer.

I wanted to play with some new tech and do something random which is why that stage comes out of the blue.

Also the new tech really didn't like the sprint mechanic which is why I had to disabled it for that stage.

After traveling a bit the portal will randomly appear.

Ok after about 2-3 minutes of trying a stage press "R" and it will ask you if you want to skip.

I see the problem... it's bad game design... I haven't shown the player the specific game mechanic before introducing it into the darkness... 

I am going to introduce a skip stage system to make the game more accessible for players that get stuck while keeping in mind what I did wrong here.

Made a start menu... probs should have done it earlier... *shrugs* also some sound as well.

Did some more sound design today!

It feels good watching it all come together and to know it will be done soon! XD

Anyway... BGM's installed! ALSO!... some SFX's as well!

I dunno why but I am so happy that I have a sound model that has sound drop off... feels like improvement!

Tying up loose ends, I will start on the sound next session... Either way this game should be out in a week or less.

Ok the ending cutscene is done!

Just some sound and visual bugs to go! uwu

The boss fight's almost done besides an ending cutscene and some minor niggles.

Just got the BGM's and SFX's after that and I'll post it up on here in a bit! XD

I keep biting off more than I can chew... so I'm just gonna release what would have been act 1 of The Slime Horde as a full standalone game and just leave it at that... while... hopefully not over promising what I am capable of again in the future... 

Anyway, I'm just wrapping up the game now... it should be done within 2 weeks and after that I have a really neat idea for a naughty cultist simulator I wanna start prototyping for...

Hmm... I might halve the stages from 20 to 10 and double the quality of each of them... I feel like the game is a little to stretched out and I want to compress it more.

Some systems like the fire slime and darkness will probably be cut as I take this game in a new direction... and don't worry... it just means more fan service! uwu!

I got a little distracted from the boss fight today... but hey!... Now I've added some polish and a single-handed control scheme!... So yeh...neat!

Ok... Boss battle is 75-80% Complete!

I don't have the iOS license for my development software yet... also... I kinda left this project since it was a bit too much for me... But I'll come back to this idea again in the future when I have a little more experience.

Ahhh... I'm not going to worry too much about commissions I should just get better naturally over time anyway... also I've now put in a slime talk system where they will say random stuffs as you play the game, if you want me to program in a certain phrase or something let me know!... The rules are... no lolli, Scat or gore.

I'll program in 1 per account that asks me and is following me.

My mind is defiantly flooded with naughty ideas for future games so I guess I will indeed by hanging around here for a bit.

ALSO!... also... When I get a better computer, a VR headset and learn python in a few years I'm definitely gonna build in VR too! :) ... but that's a way off for now...

Ok I just finished an animation for the red head when she's being absorbed and tomorrow, I'll start on the boss encounter.

Then it's just some SFX work, maybe a light revision on my BGM's, a bit of polish here and there, then I'll drop it here on Itch...

Yeh... I have no idea what I'm doing with art and animation.. so I'm just gonna yeet what I got and work it out later...

Been a bit busy on some other stuffs lately so it might take a bit more than planned b4 this game comes out...

Besides that, I am considering commissioning art for my games after I have made a bit of scratch from them... I just have to work up the courage to allow donations to my games... which I will.... eventually... maybe... hmmm...
