I actually considered that too as an early bad/good ending (depending on how you interpret it). But time and the need to write additional endings got me in the end. For next time hopefully :)

I'm glad you saw it! I was worried about that (you have to manually remove the menu in RenPy and all the keyboard shortcuts to jump to it). Thank you so much for your kind words and I agree. A lot of this game is more based on feelings/dreams/moods rather than a coherent story since I think it adds a lot more to the weird vibes it has going for it.

Thank you so much! And yeah I actually did have lineart for drawn BGs but actually ran out of time and remembered that many denpa games DO use photo BGs. So call it economical lmao

Thank you so much! And yeah, dreams combined with some crazy experiences I had while traveling and together, this came into fruition ha ha. I really enjoy this era of gaming because I think it does a lot of that (even if some of it may be nonsensical) and that's what makes it feel so special and personal :)

Thank you so much Porksbun! And yeah I really wanted to portray the bitterness of life and our choices that we make. I'm sorry to hear about your experience though and everything is well for you too.

I love how creative this idea is and it was really fun to run through the levels. Great job on this!

Thank you! I’ll take the 8/10! There’s more room to improve (more games down the road soon~!) I love denpa games and anime and would love to make more similar to them with my own twist.

thank you~!

thank you so much!!!

Hi y'll! I'm currently looking for a composer/sound designer who would be able to make PC-98 styled music (here is a Google search result on creating PC-98 music if you're unfamiliar: with the genre https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+make+pc98+style+music&sca_esv=a1d34cc2820...)

The game will personally be heavily inspired by other titles such as Subarashiki Hibi, YUNO, etc. I will be responsible for art, programming, design, and writing solo, so there wouldn't be anything else to worry about, until there is something you want to particularly help with ofc! I'm open to both new and experienced composers for this project.

Feel free to skip commenting on this thread and message me directly on Discord at yukimisoft

Just send me your itch.io and a portfolio, so I can hear what your work sounds like. To see some of my work, check out yukimisoft.itch.io for more. This isn't my first rodeo in jams or making VNs so I'm happy to assist you in any way I can.

Thank you so much for your time! Peace out~!

Hi Update.lynx! If this role is still open, I'd love to help assist with the team. I have some previous experience in marketing for a professional game studio and would love to work on a fun new space series. Feel free to contact me at yukimisoft via Discord.

Hi there! I've sent you a message via Discord! I can help via art, some programming, and marketing/social media.

I messaged you!

Love this. So cute and keeps my sanity up <3

Happy birthday! Super glad I got to play this game - it was really a great and riveting experience.

Appreciate it by a lot! And yeah I'll def take that into account. Regarding the bunnies, it was due to some issues I had with GM with collisions, so I'll learn how to work w/ them better next time. Thanks again for playing!

Thank you very much! Definitely agree there could be some fundamental design changes I could make. I'll keep that in mind next time!

Hi Dorkfishie!
Appreciate the feedback and will see if I can make any of these changes hopefully before the final deadline. This was a game jam entry so admittedly a lot of things got rushed or scrambled, but I appreciate the insights nonetheless! Cheers!

Thank you so much! Yeah it was a bit short since it was for a game jam but it def gives me room to explore in a longer project next time. And that's good to know, I'll update my game page at some point to reflect that.

Thank you! Actually funnily enough it was a little bit of both but it turned out all the well! Thank you again and glad you enjoyed the game!

Thank you so much! Appreciate you playing it.
It's like mildly autobiographical but yes I have found a lot of peace and am doing very well now! <3

LOl that's a funny coincidence.

Thank you so much ~ glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it.

And yeah some of the text bugs only present themselves in the original GB. I ended up developing this for the GB Color because it was unstable in the og GB. But the pictures you sent are really cool - super cool to see my game on the Game Boy nonetheless.

Thank you!

Thanks me too lol I definitely had a more ambitious story here but struggled with GB Studio for the first time. Would love to expand upon this in the future. Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed it.

Yup! It never made the final script but I originally wrote her as a Filipino-American. Still wanted to keep that touch to her in small ways. Thanks again for playing btw and I'm so happy you like it <3

Me too. GB Studio is definitely more limiting than Unreal or Unity so I'll keep that in mind moving forward. Thanks again so much!

I personally consider Purgatory the true ending (in my head canon) so I'm glad you felt similarly too. Her actions were indeed morally grey but I wanted to offer moral options since I think any ending is indeed valid.

Thanks for playing it Queen Faith! Happy to see people enjoying the game.

You concise the game so well. Thanks again for playing it btw! Was fun to watch your playthrough.

Hi Coffee Bat! I used your sounds for my game jam submission. Feel free to check it out. You're credited both on the game page and in-game at the end:

Thanks! Yeah same here lmao the story was initially different but changed a lot as I ran into issues ha ha

Thanks! Definitely was the intention - surprisingly I had more issues then I thought since it's my first rodeo with GB Studio. I'm glad you liked the story though.

Thanks so much @Not Jam
We really appreciate the compliments so much and we're glad you enjoy the gameplay, art, and music

Thanks so much! We're so glad you like it.

If you have additional feedback, let me know :)

OMG totally the inspiration ngl :)

Thanks so much again for the feedback, we'll see if we can fix this a little but we're happy that you like it.

Thanks so much Denos! We're so happy you like it. The cover art was a collab between me and the other artist :)

The first person perspective was thanks to our programmer who came up with it ^^)

If you have any additional feedback, let us do know please!

Thanks so much! Our composer made great music for this overall and the character designs were a lot of fun :)

There is a very brief ending if you either die or win. Then you can press r to restart!
