Wow, I must say - your comment really made my day, thank you!
I'm glad that someone who enjoys death game stories liked our game, it means a lot. Massimo seems to be fan favorite, so we must keep that in mind, haha. + I'm happy that someone liked my random horror movie reference, now I can force my friends to throw in more stuff like that!
But yeah, there is a lot of things we need to improve before the future release and we're hoping to fix all the issues people had, so thank you for your input! The ending sequence throws a lot of things on the player and they don't really have the time to think about the puzzle. I have a few ideas on how to fix it, so let's hope we'll work something out!
Thank you so much for playing our game and we hope you'll like the future release of our project!

I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

It's true, the beginning is a bit slow and we're keeping all the feedback in mind, it's one of the parts we want to rework a bit in the future. But nonetheless, it's great to hear that we managed to grab your attention!

The characters are a big part of our story, so it means a lot to us that people like them (so far people really like the dynamic between our MC and "Massimo" which is great news for us lol).

Thank you so much for all the compliments, they truly mean a lot to our team and we hope not to disappoint you with the future updates!

Thank you so much!!! This means a lot.
We'll do our best to make the finished product as perfect as possible!

10/10, got addicted to kidnapping cows

What a funny joke! Haha! Ha! Ha. ..yea.

Thank you so much!! There are still a lot of things that I both can and want to learn so I hope that my (possible) future projects won't disappoint you!

would you still love me if i was not-a-worm?

But seriously, amazing job! It was a bit heart-warming to finally play the full release after seeing how hard everyone was working.

What can i say. The graphics? Amazing. Music and sound? Phenomenal. The story itself? Captivating. I'm yet to find all the endings and i'm curious to see what else i'll encounter. It's important not to make games with multiple endings boring (after all, several playthroughs can get a bit tedious) - but from what i saw the mechanics and the narrative will keep the journey interesting.

In my opinion it has a great length for a visual novel. You definitely need to sacrifice a bit of your time, but not too much (of course with ending hunting it'll take more time, but that's a sacrifice i'm willing to make).

There were a few typos and other grammar mistakes, but it's only natural when working on a game that has a deadline.

As for the combat: it was quite challenging at times, but that's the magic of dices i guess. I managed to successfully fight my way through the game with my two brain cells tho, so everything's good.

Final thoughts:

+ Amazing artwork, music, sound design

+ Overall great worldbuilding

- I couldn't put the entirety of The Bee Movie script as my name

Ok I'm glad I found some time to check it out.

Man. What a game. It's hard for me to find the right words to describe it. I think that you managed to create an incredible game that fills the player with dread, even if the experience itself isn't long.

The thing that got to me the most was the sound design. I mean. Wow. You did something truly amazing. Especially in the later part (I don't want to spoil anything, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about) - those sounds made me shiver a bit!
I also love the simplicity of your art style - in my opinion it adds a lot to the game's atmosphere.

I encountered a small bug where when I played the game for the second time I interacted with a random tree and touched it to see a different result, after I went through it the screen never faded in again. But after reloading it worked perfectly well, so possibly it was just a one time code error.
I'm grateful you included warnings on the games page, since the topic is quite heavy and some effects might be too much for some people.  If I had to point something out, I think the only thing you could add would be to implement those warnings at the beginning of the game, since the browser version appears above the game's description. But it's not a big thing - like I said, the game's really good so it's the only thing I could nitpick, haha!

So, to sum it all up: You created an incredible game and I hope to see more from you in the future. I think you have a lot to say and you have a great sense of how to create dread and tension. It was truly an honour to take part in the same game jam as you!

Hi, BroodyGaming!

Yuslesse here - thank you for trying out our game!

I'm glad you managed to fix the error and I deeply apologize for its existence. I was supposed to check it earlier, but I ran into some personal problems. I'm pretty sure I know what causes this issue so I'll try my best to fix it.

I'm glad you enjoyed playing our game and thank you for giving us some constructive criticism.

As for me I can't wait till I'll have some time to check out your game, since its description is quite intriguing!

Dear oxymoron,

Hi, yuslesse here! Thank you so much for playing our game and leaving such a detailed review!

I'm extremely grateful that you enjoyed both the story and the gameplay. It was our first time working on a project of such scale, so we definitely wanted to prove ourselves - your review definitely shows it was worth it!

I'm personally honoured for your praise about the programming, but I can assure you that if you saw my work at the beginning... You wouldn't be impressed haha. Still, I must admit that thanks to this game jam I learned A LOT of new things.

Huge thanks for telling us what you'd change - it was very informational and we'll definitely keep it in mind! As for the error - I'll have to check what's wrong with the door when I'll have some free time. Thank you so much for the info!

Your kind words warmed my heart (which is exactly what I needed on a winter night). Thank you for checking our game!

PS. Maggipol checked out your game "Next Year It Will Be Better" and they really enjoyed it!
