Ok I'm glad I found some time to check it out.

Man. What a game. It's hard for me to find the right words to describe it. I think that you managed to create an incredible game that fills the player with dread, even if the experience itself isn't long.

The thing that got to me the most was the sound design. I mean. Wow. You did something truly amazing. Especially in the later part (I don't want to spoil anything, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about) - those sounds made me shiver a bit!
I also love the simplicity of your art style - in my opinion it adds a lot to the game's atmosphere.

I encountered a small bug where when I played the game for the second time I interacted with a random tree and touched it to see a different result, after I went through it the screen never faded in again. But after reloading it worked perfectly well, so possibly it was just a one time code error.
I'm grateful you included warnings on the games page, since the topic is quite heavy and some effects might be too much for some people.  If I had to point something out, I think the only thing you could add would be to implement those warnings at the beginning of the game, since the browser version appears above the game's description. But it's not a big thing - like I said, the game's really good so it's the only thing I could nitpick, haha!

So, to sum it all up: You created an incredible game and I hope to see more from you in the future. I think you have a lot to say and you have a great sense of how to create dread and tension. It was truly an honour to take part in the same game jam as you!

Thank you for giving it a go!! I really wanted to lean into the horror this go around and may have overcorrected a big from my last game, haha. It was hard to work on, if I'm honest. It is really dark. But it's the story I wanted to tell and I hope I did it some justice. This was my first time using images/pictures in an rpg maker game and I'm sure I will get better as I keep going, especially for opening credits/content warnings and all. I like the look of my opening page but I agree it could be more explicit in its warning. Thank you SO much for your words and feedback, this whole game jam experience is a huge learning curve and I hope to see more from you as well in upcoming jams!
