Cool game, sad that I didn't get the chance to rate this during the jam.  It's a bit weird that crouch is used in literally one level, though.  Would love to see an expanded version of this.

oh sorry, I just realized that you meant you didn't understand what I meant by rot13 - it's just a way of encoding what I'm saying since I don't want someone to see this and spoil themselves by accident.  There's a site https://rot13.com/ that will easily decode it.

The game is great, and you've got some really good ideas in here - also, I love the aesthetic of a slime picking up a key.  However, I think that given more time, the level design could be tightened up a bit - every level can be solved with at least one less bullet than given, in a few cases with 2 or 5 less bullets.  Also, I encountered a bug where, despite neither being blocked, only one of the PC/monster would move, which is probably something you should fix if you plan to do a post-jam version.  Very cool ideas, and I hope you make something more out of this!

Very cool, but I feel like i may have cheesed the final puzzle.

The fact that I solved at least a few of the puzzles by <jnyxvat guebhtu n tngr orsber vg pybfrq - jrer ABAR bs gubfr vagragvbany?>

cool concepts, wish there were more levels tho

There's some very clever puzzles in here, although I'm not a massive fan of the rot13: ernygvzr chmmyrf since it's not entirely clear what's intentional and what isn't.

The zoom in effect when you die is really clever

This is the most unique and interesting take I've seen on the physically-linked character puzzle games in this jam so far.  Well done!

Also, undo in Pico-8 is a surprise and a treat.

Cool game, the ending is very clever, though most the game up to that point was a bit lacking in difficulty, but the movement feels very good - more physics puzzles would have been cool to see.

(1 edit)

Cool game, but I think the difficulty could use some work - I found it fairly trivial to rack up points, but the idea of losing health when you miss, and getting it back when you hit multiple enemies, is very cool - kinda like an extension of Hyper Light Drifter's gun.

I assume wave 4 is the final one?

Great game - I liked it a lot, but I feel like there was some potential to make more challenging levels by limiting shots or suchlike (or even having a counter, and allowing people to go for low scores)
