lol, I am considering doing some more work on it, changing a bit of the details and putting out a finalized version in a few weeks.

Low-poly is always my jam. Thanks!

Hey man thanks!

if I had more time I'd been able to properly playtest it. With such a small window and all that I had to do in it, there were definitely some thing I had to cut (like different types of flotsam giving different resources).

Glad you liked it!

Yeah, this took it out of me. I spent about 36 hours over the weekend to get it done and I only managed to get it finished on Monday. I wish I had more time tbh, but hey, at least it's fun? The cooking bug I didn't expect. That needs to be fixed, damnit.

Oh damn, I should have thought of that. Maybe I should update it and fix that...

I considered that, but I wasn't sure I wanted it since it would make the game itself too easy. lol

This is way fun! Good job!

I should have included that people can triple-jump as well. I think it makes the game a bit easier.

I Initially had them just firing upwards as opposed to horizontally like the dogs. But they were too easy, so I upped the ante!

Thanks, this was my first attempt at a platformer, and I picked up the things I like most in that game genre (although, arguably, it's my least favorite). I LOVE that you loved it. And I'm actually quite glad you swore a few times. It means you're invested!

Yeah the Shuriken bug is something that is easy to fix, I just haven't had the time to do it. I'm glad you enjoyed it though, it really encourages me that people liked playing it.

I really oughta fix that Shuriken bug. I'm glad you enjoyed it tho, it's my first foray into building a platformer.

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback!

My pleasure bro, you have good promise with this one, keep it up!

Boy howdy you're right about that.

I really love the art style (have a soft spot for vector graphics) but I have issues with the jump. Although that might be because I am absolute garbage at platformers. Aside from that, I love this game. Well done!

Thanks! I appreciate that a lot.

I love doggos and this was an AWESOME game to play. Man, I could play this for hours. Great job!

I like the simple nature of the game, but the commands were a bit difficult for me. My fingers just don't naturally fall on those keys so it felt like I was reaching for  the controls and mis-hitting buttons.  I feel it could have benefited from BG music too. Aside from that, it was SUPER fun!

As the person who made this, I am also terrible at platformers. I'm sorry you didn't like it. If I had the time I would have probably made this more accessible to left-handers, but as I was only able to finish it in the time I had, I didn't have the extra time to include acessibility, so that's my bad. I apologize.

That's not a bad idea tbh. I would have put those in. the idea was that when you killed a mob, it'd drop a full restore. But I didn't have the time to implement a drop system.

The ghostly dudes were a challenge to code. At the start they were too easy, so I ramped up the difficulty and I think they might have ended up too hard :/

I checked that, apparently I forgot to put a reload in on it when the first clip expended. I'll have to fix that in a future update.

Thanks!

It's a hard game tho, no reason to feel bad. I don't know if I could even finish it after I built it.

Damn, I'm sorry. I didn't have time to balance everything sadly.
