Very fun game, very cool too!!! Adorable character design yet still pretty creepy, and I really enjoyed the story that it took me through.

Spoilers for the game below!

First I got the ending where I stayed asleep with him, and then I got the ending where he gave me advice about friendship. I've genuinely been feeling very lonely lately, and this game, although quite short, was very comforting. Thank you!!!

Awesome game!!! Super fun!!! Kinda buggy and laggy, but that is easily made up for how SATISFYING it is to destroy all of those trees!!! Very fun!! It doesn't really fit the theme of the jam, but I am glad to have played this cute lil game. The art is super cute too!! Excited to see if there will be more things to buy~

Awesome game!! Great touches of horror to it, I definitely felt very unsettled. I think it could use a flashing lights warning, though. The audio really did a great job adding to the atmosphere! I also loved the parts where I had to move the parts of the scene around as the narrator described what was happening. I can really feel a lot of emotion from this game, and I can tell I'll be thinking about it for a long while. I only wish there was more of it!

Absolutely incredible!!!! The audio design, the shots, the writing... All of it!!! This project is amazing, and it definitely had a significant emotional impact on me. Keep it up!!!!

Super duper cool!!! Really brings me into a dreamlike, almost spooky environment. I love how intense it gets as the music builds to its peak. I almost wish there were some vocals, like some distant humming or siren-like singing... Would really fit the vibe! Solid tunes :)

Thanks!!!

Thanks for the feedback!

I enjoy the pixel art, and the particles for the snow are great! The music is kind of loud, though, and although there are some parts of it that I like (the drums are great), there are other parts of the music that seem a bit too intense for the act of walking through the snow drinking coffee. It would be better suited as a boss theme! Maybe something simpler, building off of the great drums, would fit better? I tend to find that jingle bells add something wonderful to snowy areas in video games! I think the gameplay itself was fine enough--it definitely made me want to go drink some coffee! However, there wasn't much to do, and things like the path, the building, and the person standing there confused me. I think a bit more UI or tutorial would help me understand what I'm supposed to do. I was very confused when the path did nothing at all! Regardless, the art itself was cute, and it was a good simple game. I think some sound effects upon picking up the coffee, some footsteps as you walk through the snow, and maybe some whistling of wind to indicate that you're getting colder could help the player's experience!

I am also getting this error.

Thank you very much! You too!

Thank you very much for the comment! Glad that you enjoyed the experience, and it's great that you found the phone part hilarious!

Thank you so much!! Glad that you enjoyed the experience :)

Awesome to hear! Thanks for the well written response, that helps a lot! I will definitely come back to play this game again soon >:3

Very cute and addicting game! I played it for a long time, and I would love to master this fun fast-paced game. However, there are a few issues... mostly, it is hard to tell where the hitbox of the cat is and where the hitbox of the counter is, and I keep accidentally tossing my ingredients on the cat instead of the counter! Additionally, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I have tried many many times to make muffins, and at first I was doing it fine, but now for some reason when I drag the chocolate, sprinkles, or that other bowl of stuff over to the counter, no matter what it doesn't go on the counter. And I am left making a useless blank muffin! It is very disappointing, because after playing so long, I can get every order perfect before the muffins show up, and then there is nothing I can do... Additionally, I feel like unlocking extra cats only harms the player, because then I have more cats to feed, and I can only really handle using one or maybe two cats at a time. Well, despite those slight issues, which I believe could be reworked with just a little more time and playtesting, this was a very fun and addicting game and I'm hoping there's an update so that I can play more! Very solid direction and a super fun game loop, it really felt like a game I could master, and it was a lot of fun learning strategies to maximize efficiency. And needless to say, the art is super cute, and the simple song is very charming and fitting for this little game! I think using an 8bit or 16bit squeak sound effect for the cats instead of a real-life cat yowl could fit the theme a little better, but other than that the sound design is great. All in all very fun game, it hooked my attention for quite a while and I hope to see more!

Very cool little game! I love that the font name matches the game, lol. I do think sound effects and music would really help this game, as well as some sort of particle or animation when the fire is destroyed. The gameplay is fun enough, but I think some power-ups would really make it fun! Also, I just keep maxing out my heat score. I'm not sure how to prevent it from going over 1475 while fending off the flames. But the pixel art is very cute, and I liked playing it!

I adore this game!! The character designs are super cool (I love that they're spiders), and the story is very charming and delightful. The way that the teapot seems to glare at the player the whole time definitely adds to the feeling of anxiety that Carl is feeling! A very fun, heartwarming experience.

Super cute game! The controls are very tight and satisfying too, and when coupled with the cute sprite running around, it's a very silly and fun game! Trying to find the different endings was neat, too.
