Use of the limitation
I wanted an opportunity to practice storing a variable in Twine, so this was perfect practice! I wondered how a score would work in a multiple-choice story type game, so I wondered for a while about how one could quantify "good" or "bad" decisions. I decided to turn the score into the very theme of this Jam: Warmth! This could also be translated into the HP of the player, if you're really gamifying it. Either way, I did some funky things with the score, such as having an untrustworthy narrator skew your choices towards losing Warmth, and multiple endings resulting in infinitely increasing or decreasing scores. It was a lot of fun to make a supposed self-help story quanitifiable with strict numbers!

Unique experience to be honest. Loved that the game was creepy with scrolling, but sometimes confusing :)

Sleeping in bed all day is not the right answer outrages! Seriously though I loved this game. it's like the struggle I've dealt with for a long time myself and it actually had a good ending so good on you. The phone is also hilarious.

I love a good text based game, one that incorporates the theme and limitation well is definitely going to score points with me.

We've all had days where we deal with those narrators in our heads. I hope you have a warm day and don't scroll too much!
