Nice little game!

Gave it a try. The font is very _very_ hard to read. Love the art style though.

Actually, the devlog is missing quite some content. Not enough time for writing stuff and developing the game :-) Anyway, we have submitted the entry at Rogue Commander by ZwieBit, Zz9uk3, Apostel (itch.io) :-)

I will write a article later on on how good / bad the development with godot engine was.

Thanks! Yes, sort of like advanced wars. Obviously we were not able to push all features we wanted...:-) Anyway... the story has a major plot twist :-)

Hello,

this year i teamed up with a collegue and we want to create a roguelike with more stragey elements. Our inspiration is the game "company of heroes". In this game you will take part as a commander of a squad and you have to try to liberate a city as the final mission on a single map. The city is controlled by an opposing commander which must be defeated.

You can explore the map, give commands to fellow squad and you have to position your units for best chances in combat. At certain locations you will find powerups which will enhance the combat abilities of a squad. So its not exactly a dungeon crawler but it will feature the core elements of a roguelike, permadeath, random maps, grid based movement and of course turn based.

This game uses the godot engine and will be available as a browser game.

Indeed it has something to do with 21:9 resolution, don't ask me why... in windowed 2560x1080 this happens too, not in 1920x1080 (fullscreen / windowed)

Edit:

Yes, PC-Version. This also happens at 2560x1440

Settings-Panel is closing when i try to change a setting. This means i can't change movement mode but settings like keypress intervall are stored.
