Updated after a mostly successful fix of the project file.
Added a second song. More to come as time permits :)
Looks like the project file got corrupted at some point as there are some janky transitions in points that weren't in the original before I mixed to mp3.... Meanwhile the recording software is in the middle of a HUGE import of stuff and I'm in a frenzied schedule the next few days. I will revisit the project and reedit it as I get a chance to get it back to what I wanted...........
Also over the coming weeks I want to get a few more songs done :)
If you use the keyboard you need to carefully watch who the intended target is when setting up attacks or healing and such for that matter. You can get better results sometimes using the mouse to select the target so you don't accidentally attack a party member or heal an enemy. I used plugins for expanded controls and something is a bit off from what I expect and still haven't figured out fully what's going on although the good thing is it's reproducible. I just need to dig into someone else's code to see why it's not exactly what I want :)
I almost forgot also that the default behavior in the engine is that the mouse cursor determines the target if it's sitting on a valid target. SO if the mouse cursor is sitting on one of your party members then no matter what you tryto do with the keyboard they will get selected. I may remove the enhanced targeting as I don't see an easy way to use it and filter out so attacks only hit enemies and healing and such only hit friendlies. I'll have to do some updates to the help file anyhow and will add those hints in.
I have a couple days off work this week so may try to push another update out soon.
I have a new build published now which should correct game save issues.
As far as the profile error for NW.js it looks like you may have installed NW.js and the game is seeing that install and giving a warning.
Here's some info I found on that:
https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/mv-profile-error-occurred-durin...
It looks like you can safely ignore that warning and/or delete that folder from your profile.
OK looks like game save is officially broken in this build.
Meanwhile IRL the pandemic has slowed down a lot but we've had a HUGE influx of people escaping from places like New York in the area so our trauma center is busting at the seams (car wrecks and head injuries are very popular right now) so my work schedule at the hospital is rather insane which severely limits my time in debugging. However I did take a few days off over spring break to spend with my kid so hopefully between the two of us we can get it figured out then..
I'll also be doing more database (and note tag) cleanup to ensure items I thought I had removed from the game are definitely NOT in drops from some of the monsters. Plus have some ideas to improve guidance for quests to ensure the player doesn't get lost from the main quest line. And also a bit more tweaking of balance for monsters and better prompting also to get upgrades as if you stick with low level gear and spells some of those fights get very, very, very long...... :)
And last but not least I do have discord so any questions and such you can contact me that way as well. discord.gg/8vyZ23a
