I didn't notice this while playing but it's true! I have a lot or rhubarb in my garden here in Sweden and it's never been bothered by the Winter, just freezes over then springs back to life with the sun.

I'm sitting by the fireplace while late Summer storms hammer away outside. I'm trying to decide what to do with my lazy rainy Sunday when I see a new Meadow update! Perfect!

No problem! I'm honestly surprised there aren't more bugs in the game, considering all the intertwining paths. I'll grab the update whenever it's ready :)

Oh, wow, incredible, thank you so much for the quick response and the patch! I'll re-download the game and give myself the excuse to play again this evening.

I'm actually not sure! Am 90% certain my wife bought it through the Incube8 store and loaded it onto the Everdrive. I've been looking at the rom in my game list for a while though, so it could be an older version if the Incube8 one hasn't been updated. She's away on a work trip right now so I'll try and ask her when I get a chance!

It's taken me a while to get to this one but it hasn't disappointed. Really impressive scope for a 'lil GB game.

Unfortunately my first playthrough ended in a bug, which sounds the same as one already reported here:

I failed the test. Then got kicked out of the police academy. Then I ate the capsule I was asked to deliver, and was later thrown out of the squat for becoming a junkie. There was nobody there to meet me outside, and the game wouldn't let me enter the drug squat building despite the text box welcoming me. After that I couldn't progress in any of my objectives, nor could I find anywhere to sleep until the next day.

My second and third playthrough went great though, and I look forward to my fourth!

Just to add that brush generally means a small thicket of shrubby growth, likely difficult to pass. Personally I think I prefer brush to bush in this context, but it works either way!

Pleased to see development continue on this. It scratches a cosy itch in the indie scene.

Do you have any kind of roadmap or v1.0 plans for the game? Or are you just working on it, and adding content, as and when it comes to you?

I continue to be unreasonably excited that you're still developing this :D

Hype!

Oh I forgot, I also noticed the invisible cactus in my house. The only other bug I found is that the text on the screen to enter the names of my cows and chickens is misaligned. So to get the correct letter I have to select the letter to the top right of the one I want.

So I've been playing the demo today on my original GBC, and my impression is that it's super rad all round! There's a lot of detail that adds to the cosy atmosphere, and I particularly liked the little flavour texts for, say, a mossy or lizard-inhabited rock, or a shimmering pool.

I also found the formatting of the text very easy to read on the original, unmodified GBC screen. It's nicely written and short, while still conveying everything it needs to.

What really won me over was finding the hot air balloon before discovering the sunset screen. A small touch that I think shows the care that's going into this project.

Will definitely be following along with any future developments you make!

There are incredible homebrew titles coming out lately but, honestly, a chilled new farming sim is at the top of my most wanted list. (I'm eternally disappointed, for example, that a million Pokemon romhacks are released weekly, while Harvest Moon receives zero love).

I'm currently repairing my GBC. As soon as it's done, I'm going to take this demo for an Everdrive spin.
