Hi there,

for a game project i am working on, i am looking for a java developer to support me and programm with me.
As this is a indie project without funding the budged is sadly very small but i am willing to pay you for your cooperation.

For the job you need a good understanding of Java and the will to get into some already existing spaghetti code :-)

The game is written in a custom engine ( java , opengl ) and is a tactical round-based rpg like final fantasy tactics.

Hey! This sounds interesting. Please add me on discord: Wisp#4537

Hi "Silence is a lie",

So far I'm coding while not exactly using an engine itself (like additional apps), rather just designing textbased-storylines & using HTML-tags. I would join for free, I know the concept of RPG-typed game, same for turn-based ones and maybe we could fit for collaborating? btw: I'm on discord too, also being new to itch-platform & even published a version that includes approx. my style of coding, some users would define it as "indie", so maybe its keywords in coding sound similar I guess?

Hey there, thanx for your reply. What languages do you code in ?

Mainly I get inspired by new possible codes, while my programming including approx. those tags: HTML, style, font, input, script, function, setTimeout, getElementById, DOM, border, opacity, colors, hovering and onMouse-interactions, "dropdown", fading-in/out specific paragraphs & effects like filter:blur, transition (rarely working with Math.random or addEventListener)

Not sure if there's a nickname for that type of coding, but it seems like no jQuery or Python also requires just html file-ending and I also modified some file-down/upload coding-parts, while I guess they're rather useful for combining with pages than games in that case?

Hi there,
thanx for the info.
I guess that html and JS wont be enough to work on a massive OOP java application with 200 files and 500.000+ lines of code.
Thnax for your intresset and keep on coding !

Do you have discord?  If not, we're I can contact you and talk?

I never made a game in Java but I know the language well as I maintained for 4 years an app made in Java. I Also studied Java at university and made some programs handling multiple threads, concurrency and that stuff... But I don't remember much of that. I will have to refresh a bit!

Hi there,
