Benifets Of Fire sword 2?

Soo The fire sword is pretty neat it's useful in hard fights like the mark 3 hammer bot and stuff like that However i realised that The second Upgrade of The Fire Sword isn't that Useful Or at least i think it is Soooo is it Worth upgrading or is it a useless upgrade?

although the upgrade description doesn't say, fire  sword 2 actually makes the fire spread more, increasing the likelihood of a killing blow ^_^

Not only is the PTK higher, but the fire also destroys Voxels slightly faster, in my impression.
