As long as we're not talking a completed game? As that wouldn't be fair to others or in the spirit of the jam.
You are, however, welcome to use existing assets such as art, audio and even code. People will already be using open source assets, and depending on their engine/language of choice some will be writing more code than others. So the rules are loose in terms of the resources you can use.
So standalone resources/assets, YES.
A started, even incomplete, project, best NOT. But if it is an existing project, and you still wish to enter, at the very least mention it so people are aware.
Thanks for answer. It's not a project, i didn't write a single line of code. It's a small set of tile graphics and player animation - i'll mention about it on the project page.
