I still kick myself that I missed out on the option to support the kickstarter for this game, I love it, and I unfortunately learned about it far too late to support the initial project. I understand that there is an additional character available to those who were able to support the kickstarter, and I would be willing to pay extra or something like that to get access to that character. Would you consider releasing that version for purchase at all? Maybe once the game is complete?

Hello, Don't worry, the Kickstarter character "Beryllus" will be available as a DLC for non backers.

It will be released later, once the main game development is complete.
