What's the point of the Purity & Depravity counter? Does keeping it high/full points have any significance to gameplay at all?

High Purity is needed to succeed at some checks, specifically against those using domination powers on you.

Dignity defines your sluttiness, IIRC, so once it reaches a certain point you'll automatically fail Slut checks. It can lead to you accessing Slut options, but you can also access those with Catamite.

I see, it was Purity and Dignity, not depravity.

In any case, now it kinda makes more sense to me, the slut checks. Thanks, not sure if I ever noticed the difference with Catamite though, given that I always get the perk as one of the first ones early on as enchantress.

If my understanding is correct, Catamite allows you access to the Slutty Checks and such or fail them without failing them against your will if you have enough PUR/DIG.
There's also some endings that require low PUR/DIG

Still trying to get a grasp on the Pur/Dig plus sluttly check, trying to role play as an enchantress which should be dignified and dominant.

Purity can't be raised, it's lost each time you suck a cock or get fucked. Facials do not lower Purity.
Dignity is gained by defeating enemies by health to 0 instead of dominating or satisfying.

That helps a lot thanks. I guess I can go for Low Purity but High Dignity as far as my enchantress's lore go.
