Hello! Just picked up 1bitdragon in the hopes that it would be a good guide for first drafts as a fledgling composer, and I immediately ran into a problem when I decided to test the waters with a song that had inserted itself into my head today:

The program, far as I can tell, only supports 4/4 measures, when the song I wanted to compose is 5 beats per measure (5/4), and I'm certain more would've called for 3 beats per measure (3/4) later on.

Are there any plans to provide the ability to change the length of a measure in the future?

You can get around this limitation by putting the notes where you want without necessarily following the grid, as in this video: 

But I agree with you, it would be great if the user could choose the beats per measure.

I'll think about it for the next versions, even though I know it's a big job 🙀
