The itch app won't start/login

I downloaded the itch app hoping to try and buy some new games. Unfortunately, the itch app wouldn't start, giving me this error code:

I am running Ubuntu v16.04

Well I don't know what that is to be onset i have no clue to what that means I sorry it did no work for you

Do you have a system-wide proxy configured? Can you try turning it off to see if it helps?

Ohhh, i have opendns on here, so i think that's it. Thanks for helping me though!
