Hi! I was having a great time playing the game and naming my saves weird things, and a scene or two after the folded crane letter I went to save again and it wouldn't let me, the twine/ren'py code error screen popping up and letting me know that because I (stupidly) used an open square bracket ([) at the end of one of my save names, I had totally screwed with the code by leaving an open formatting option laying about. Now, I've coded a bit myself and decided it would just be best to delete the save from the save folder and restart the game. I did, and the exception happened again, and when I went back to the save folder and the save was right back where it used to be. So, I just delete the entire save folder. Same thing happens-- poof! It's back! SO, I decided to just uninstall both versions of the game (Steam and Itch.io), and remove it from my steam account entirely. I go to redownload it on steam, and I can't (probably steams fault) so I re-download the itch.io files. The same exception occurs, despite the fact that my old save files aren't in the save folder anymore and don't even exist. I can't save, and I can't load saves eitehr (i.e, I am unable to reach the save menu and change the problem save's name) At this point, I'm just confused. Help??
